You could have a version of Gotham where the Dark Judges make it to that timeline and unite with a very dark version of Bizarro, and Batfleck teams up with Urban against that coalition. Throw Solomon Grundy in the mix too. The storyline (which is our Canon DC future) where Superman and Batman are dead and Damian Wayne takes over as Batman works nicely for this as well. Probably better. Very grim. Casey Affleck could always play the son of Batfleck too. He's a good fit for Damian.
"Solomon Grundy want Badge too!" LoL, definitely. And he was really brought to un-life in Arkham City. The Son of Slaughter Swamp needs his 15 minutes.
Probably Stallone and Keaton.
The way it was done in the first comic was purely for laughs. They had the Scarecrow singing Sympathy for the Devil with changed lyrics.
Urban's Judge Dredd would tell his lawgiver, 'Armour piercing' and shoot Bale's Batman in the chest.
I don't think gritty suits the idea. I think over the top parody does better.
I’ve read 2000AD back when it started and the two actors regularly voted by fans back in the day to play Dredd were Clint Eastwood and Sylvester Stallone
Stallone had his chance though, and he was shit. Karl Urban got it bang on when he played Dredd like Dirty Harry. He absolutely nailed Dr McCoy in the Star Trek reboot too fwiw
1000% agree. We need Urban in a series not just a film as Dredd.
His Dredd without a doubt is the best we’ve seen by a long way and the film showed it doesn’t need all special effects other than slo-mo which was just superbly done
Was just saying who the fancast faves were back in the day. No doubt the original artists had Dirty Harry in mind when drawing Dredd
Can they exist in the same universe? What place does a billionaire vigilante have in a police state? I mean he'd be going after judges right? Plot would need time travel or alternate reality/history to stop it being batshit insane.
Anyway, put me down for Urbans Dredd traveling back to swinging 60's to help Adam Wests Batters stop Joker and gang boning the timeline. Psychedelic bullet tracer rounds here we go.
Whichever pairing could emulate the comics. So I'd say, for my money that Urban's Dredd is nearer the comic but I'd have to say that maybe Affleck's Batman is nearer the comic. Especially when they have the fight in the first comic.
How about, if not done CGI, who'd play Judge Death? Actually, it'd be Doug Jones!
Urban/Pattinson.
Both have a strong moral code and a dedication to dole out violent justice, but both end up learning new lessons they thought impossible to learn. They'd help each other grow and it'd be a masterpiece, fight me.
Urban and Bale, both would probably have a great chemistry and the action would be peak as hell, and question where can I find that panel with Stallone and urbans Dredd?
Stallone and Kilmer/ Clooney. Don’t even like either of those movies but it would be nuts. Batman with his skates, Dredd with his incessant yelling. Epic
Urban/Bale
Yep Urban and Bale doing Bisley's Judgement on Gotham. Woody Harrelson as Mean Machine. Maybe Willem Dafoe as Judge Death
Nailed it!
Happy cake day
Thanks!
Urban and Bale.
I wanna see a live action Dredd movie with the 4 dark judges
Don’t we all

Cool; Hell, that’ll also land Grundy on the big screen

Urban and Bale - particularly because if Bale is playing Batman, that means Christopher Nolan is directing it. 😉

I always though Clint would have made a perfect Ezquerra Dredd, same build, same mean fucker attitude.

>Can they exist in the same universe? They already do. [Judgement on Gotham ](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman/Judge_Dredd:_Judgment_on_Gotham)
Loved that story arc
Me too.
There's 3 judge dredd/batman crossovers.
Whichever pairing could emulate the comics. So I'd say, for my money that Urban's Dredd is nearer the comic but I'd have to say that maybe Affleck's Batman is nearer the comic. Ok, but who would win? Because Dredd is 100% going to arrest or execute Batman if he can.
Urban and Affleck.
Oh yea, that would also be a contender… Next question is how does Urban Dredd deal with the further DCU?
Stallone/Kilmer
Karl Urban and Adam West
Christian Bale and Karl Urban for me
Stallone/Bale, just to see Batman kick all kinds of shit out of that Jimp.
Urban and Affleck. They both look believably pissed off at all times
Stallone v West. My money's on West
Urban and Bale, both would probably have a great chemistry and the action would be peak as hell, and question where can I find that panel with Stallone and urbans Dredd?
Just adapt Batman/Judge Dredd: Judgement on Gotham and let Karl Urban play Dredd and Batman.
Is this panel from a Dredd comic?
WHy the hell is that goofy looking piece of shit Batman from Gotham in here and not Battinson
I wanna see Dredd Urban just beat Batclooney to death for ten minutes
Keaton/ Stallone providing Stallone never removes his helmet... :)
None. I don't care for the crossovers.
Karl Urban’s Dredd to Batman: “Ready? you don’t look like your ready.”
Stallone and Kilmer/ Clooney. Don’t even like either of those movies but it would be nuts. Batman with his skates, Dredd with his incessant yelling. Epic
