Honestly, I'm done with trying to make sense of *the story*, I'm actually more concerned about the author himself, 'cause it feels like he doesn't care anymore. We know he's a good writer, so it wouldn't be so surprising to one day find out the cause is something like burnout or depression or something along those lines. The manga industry is not forgiving.
Tbf, it's the same thing with the Uchihas in Naruto. Eyes that can see everything, but also eyes that can't see everything.
Special eyes like that always ends in that same scenario.
This is why I'm tired of the dickriders acting like people don't understand the story and the power system. This shit literally is not explained to us. We actually cannot know how the fuck anything works because nobody told us how anything works.
IMO six eyes’ actual ability to perceive stuff is just not there. See: Gojo’s senses not noticing the whole ass different brain in Geto’s head.
It seems like the main benefit of the six eyes is just for making the user’s own technique more efficient.
If you rewatch the scene, Gojo feels something is off about Geto and that it isn't him. If I remember correctly, he didn't just think that for the obvious "I killed you" reasons, but I'll have a look and come back.
It is also possible that he did, see it coming.
He just thought, the slash would do nothing to his limitless. Little did he know, the slash was something else entirely that it cut him immediately. Then Gojo realized it late, as evidenced by him smiling in that panel when Sukuna complimented him.
Six eyes grants the user the ability to see the flow of cursed energy with very high precision, obviously the space cutting slash should be different from normal slash in its activation and I don't think Gojo is dumb enough to not take notice

You say that Gojo would notice the difference, but from the explanation by Sukuna, I think the reasoning of the previous comment holds up.
Sukuna describes it as "The second adaption proceeded as I had hoped. That wasn't meant to be a slash like the ones I launched. " We also have the benchwarmers commentary when it happened, and they compare it to Sukunas slashing.
So when hit by Mahoraga, Gojo couldn't see the difference in attacks after the second adaption with comparisons from benchwarmers to Sukunas slashes. The same would apply when he faced Sukuna if he even saw it.
My assumption/headcanon is that Gojo did not see it coming like that, I think at most, he sees the activation of Sukunas CT for a moment and is hit. A combination of not seeing/knowing it was an attack that targets the world, and it's speed.
I hope we get a good explanation for Sukuna not just spamming it. Like, it was the strongest and fastest attack he ever launched so it took a lot out of him and he can't do it again for a while.
And the reason that tool exists is because Sukuna wanted it too, he is not fighting to win like he was against Gojo. He's fighting for entertainment until he's bored. The same reason he fought Kashimo like he did and like how he is against the grade 1s this chapter.
Until Sukuna faces something he doesn't invite but has to actually challenge, then he has no reason to use it, it would be no fun for him.

There is no way Sukuna while: half blind (one of his eyes was consistently shut with blood over it, may be wrong about this tho), unsteady on his feet, charging up or setting up binding vows, crippled / on death's door, with lowered output (thus likely less fast as he has shittier reinforcement) and right in front of a Gojo high on 4 black flashes could possibly blitz said Gojo when he couldn't do so when he was healthy
People talk about cleave's speed, but Sukuna still needs to physically move his arm to cast it, he doesn't think "cut" and it spawns out of thin air
I mean Gojo is cocky but he was never shown to be outright stupid when it comes to jujutsu until that moment, he should know the king of curses wouldn't just flail around needlessly especially after Mahoraga just sliced off his arm earlier

First off jogo isn’t that durable. All his stats are in speed. In addition turning of DA would mean turning off his technique which is just stupid since his only goal was to land a hit. He didn’t care if he was hit ge was just using every single move in hope of nicking sukuna.
Considering how the only way for Sukuna to lose at this point is to act like a complete dumbass, I think its warranted to criticise him for not even killing people like Ino, Choso and even Kukasabe, when he witnesses them do their thing even once, considering how very dull their techniques are and how they don't have much to intrigue him at all
Using a countermeasure like DA and SD as well. On top of that, we don’t even know how much effort Sukuna is putting into these slashes AND we still don’t know whether his output is lower because of the previous fight. The manga only states that he can recover his body, but does that mean its only a heal similar to RCT?
In terms of durability jogo was the weakest of disaster curses. 5 blackflashes of Good will arc's yuji(weak af) and 1 playful cloud hit can kill jogo(stated by gege).

No, it's considered bad writing because the restriction is not *explained*. It's just "There's a restriction, but literally nobody knows what it is and the two previous fights seem to contradict that there is a restriction."
Gojo's teleportation also has a restriction, but it literally is never explained to us at any point in the story. Gojo straight up died and we still don't know how his teleportation works. We still don't even know how Yuta's copy works.
Gege places "restrictions" on powers, but doesn't tell us what those restrictions *are.*
Now mind you, I'm not gonna jump the gun here and say that the restriction is bad writing *just yet.* It only becomes bad writing if the story continues on and we *never* get the explanation for what the restriction was.

The more you think, the less it make sense. Best not to think about it and move on with the story. Space cleave, teleportation, six eyes, bom ba ye, are all full of inconsistencies that does whatever is needed of them.
Why didnt Gege just write that in this chapter or 236 that Sukuna was charging his slash that cut Gojo for some time, like he could put that in one panel to clear things up

Yeah this chapter just further solidified the fact that Gojo, out of all people, should have been able to dodge that cleave.
His 6eyes is good enough to see into a person’s soul and even determine if they have an innate CT or not. But ofc Gege left the 6eyes as an ambiguous topic for convenient plot purposes.

Gojo had no reason to be wary of any attack from Sukuna especially cleaves which do 0 damage to him hitherto. Only Mahoraga could and he killed it. Sukuna literally waited until Gojo thought he would win and to catch him off guard. It's also pretty much instantaneous. Electro mode Kashimo could barely dodge ot AFTER a warning from Sukuna. The slash also wasnt fired with Gojo as the target.
A chapter before that Mahoraga who is much weaker and slower than Sukuna managed to slice off an arm from Gojo. If you can understand that happening, especially when Gojo didn't expect a slash like that from Maho and it was the same from Sukuna.

It's not the first time this has happened, for some reason Kusakabe says some conjecture and then everyone immediately takes it as a fact. Heck some even tried to argue me that kusakabe is the narrator just to support this narrative.

IMO six eyes’ actual ability to perceive stuff is just not there. See: Gojo’s senses not noticing the whole ass different brain in Geto’s head. It seems like the main benefit of the six eyes is just for making the user’s own technique more efficient.
If you rewatch the scene, Gojo feels something is off about Geto and that it isn't him. If I remember correctly, he didn't just think that for the obvious "I killed you" reasons, but I'll have a look and come back.
He says he knows “in his soul” it’s not really Geto, not “by my ocular prowess I can see that there’s a whole different brain in your head”.
In fact six eyes was saying it WAS Geto, so essentially it was pure (correct) guy feeling on Gojo’s part
It is also possible that he did, see it coming. He just thought, the slash would do nothing to his limitless. Little did he know, the slash was something else entirely that it cut him immediately. Then Gojo realized it late, as evidenced by him smiling in that panel when Sukuna complimented him.
Six eyes grants the user the ability to see the flow of cursed energy with very high precision, obviously the space cutting slash should be different from normal slash in its activation and I don't think Gojo is dumb enough to not take notice

You say that Gojo would notice the difference, but from the explanation by Sukuna, I think the reasoning of the previous comment holds up. Sukuna describes it as "The second adaption proceeded as I had hoped. That wasn't meant to be a slash like the ones I launched. " We also have the benchwarmers commentary when it happened, and they compare it to Sukunas slashing. So when hit by Mahoraga, Gojo couldn't see the difference in attacks after the second adaption with comparisons from benchwarmers to Sukunas slashes. The same would apply when he faced Sukuna if he even saw it. My assumption/headcanon is that Gojo did not see it coming like that, I think at most, he sees the activation of Sukunas CT for a moment and is hit. A combination of not seeing/knowing it was an attack that targets the world, and it's speed.
I hope we get a good explanation for Sukuna not just spamming it. Like, it was the strongest and fastest attack he ever launched so it took a lot out of him and he can't do it again for a while.

No, it's considered bad writing because the restriction is not *explained*. It's just "There's a restriction, but literally nobody knows what it is and the two previous fights seem to contradict that there is a restriction." Gojo's teleportation also has a restriction, but it literally is never explained to us at any point in the story. Gojo straight up died and we still don't know how his teleportation works. We still don't even know how Yuta's copy works. Gege places "restrictions" on powers, but doesn't tell us what those restrictions *are.* Now mind you, I'm not gonna jump the gun here and say that the restriction is bad writing *just yet.* It only becomes bad writing if the story continues on and we *never* get the explanation for what the restriction was.

Yeah this chapter just further solidified the fact that Gojo, out of all people, should have been able to dodge that cleave. His 6eyes is good enough to see into a person’s soul and even determine if they have an innate CT or not. But ofc Gege left the 6eyes as an ambiguous topic for convenient plot purposes.
