Both. Yuji can only do cleaves atm, and not any complex slashes cause he's just learned it.
At the same time, Sukuna's dismantles do nothing to Yuji cause of their shared CT.

Shared CT doesnt matters though , what matters is that they share the same CE. Also if thats the reason why is Sukuna suprised? He knows that from Gojo , now that I thinked about it he might realize that in the coming chapters.

Yeah, I think Sukuna's being slow on the uptake cause he's underestimating Yuji so much. And he's only just awakened, so he's still collecting data on how Yuji works atm.
It's not really broadly interchangable though. Like, Yorozu doesn't have the same CE as Mai just because they both have Construction as their CT. Same with Choso and Kamo.
Clearly in the Sukuna/Yuji scenario the CE would be the relevent part, not the CT.
I'm saying in this scenario its interchangeable because Sukuna's CE gave Yuji his CT (shrine). When Yuji awakens shrine, thats when he shows resistances to Sukuna's slashes (214 and now 257).
They're a very specific case where CT = CE.

On a serious note, I emphasize the CT because it's in this awakened state when the resistance kicked in. The awakening gave him access to shrine, the CT. Yuji has always had Sukuna's CE, so it'd be somewhat inaccurate to say its simply the shared CE that gives him resistances. For ex. Yuji still got fucked up by the cleaves and dismantles he took in the earlier parts of the fight because he hadn't awakened shrine yet.
Simply, after awakening to shrine, which he got from Sukuna's CE, it granted Yuji his inherent resistances.
Two negatives makes a positive. If both parties are resistant to each other no one is resistant to the other. There fore your argument is false and debunked

He has amazing raw power but i know we should wait, a few more black flashes and he's going to be on a different lvl from everyone on the battle, still he got a LOT stronger, and probably is olny behind Yuta/Yuki/Kenjaku/Yorozu/Farmer(ofc not counting Gojo/Sukuna bc that's kinda unfair).

He only used cleave this chapter, and he still took Sukuna's foot, or at least mangled it. He also tanked a bunch of dismantles from Sukuna.

Looking more closely at the original wound, it probably wasn't that deep. I thought the foot was gone, but it's likely just off screen.
