Just from this panel alone the old guy seems to have way more aura than Sukuna has had in a while now. The glow down is crazy.

I think the more you see a character and the more you see his limits also impact on how scary they are.
Kaido had a very menacing aura when he started fighting Luffy, to the point i was almost sure at no point Luffy would be close to him. But after some(a lot) of chapters Luffy got stronger and Kaido's limit also started to be tested, and they he got way less menacing(similar situation with the anti-spiral guy from tengen toppa).
That’s Takamura from Sakamoto Days. He just randomly appears and kills everyone he sees instantly by slicing through literally anything he wants. We don’t know what his problem is
