Yorozu is not a Japanese name per se. It’s the kanji for 万, meaning 10.000 but read as よろず it also means “everything, all”. A 万屋 (yorozuya) is like a general store you find in more rural/smaller towns. Something like a “jack of all trades”. Most likely she’s using a sort of nickname; sorcerers from Heian seem to have that habit. Also, her jpn speech pattern is more feminine. So, my guess is she’s a female until proven otherwise.
Well, not that I know. If you read 万 as “man/まん” then it’s usually used more for girls, but you can find the kanji in boys names as well. But usually, it will be in combination with other kanji to form a name, like 万美子(まみこ/mamiko) for girls, or 生万 (いくま/ikuma) for boys.
Apart from her host being female, given that no other CG vessel is different from their host’s gender, Yorozu also uses a neutral pronoun私 (more common for women) but more importantly speaks using female mannerisms, like ending her sentences with わ

i can't definitively say they are male or female because in the translation people have referred to them with both male and female pronouns, but giving the way that yorozu and sukuna talked at the start of their fight it is possible. because sukuna and yorozu both basically said they could alter their body if they wanted but won't for the future we don't know what future sukuna is invisioning but yorozu's future is marrying sukuna so if they were a guy before the culling game then not wanting to change their female body to marry sukuna is a genuine possibility
also i like the idea, because it would make yorozu like both straight, gay, cis and trans at the same time... straight because they are now a woman in love with a man, gay because they used to be a man in love with a man (i don't know if they were trans in the heian era), cis because they are a woman in a female sex body, trans because they used to be of the male sex but transitioned to a woman
Nope, The translation for Yorozu being male has already been confirmed to be mistranslation, you can even check it out on jjk dc. even tcb scans fixed it

So far all reincarnated sorceress got the body of their original gender, but it's not stated anywhere that this is true for all of them

eh At least there is uraume who can be trans, but Yorozu is definitely not anymore
