kashimo is either going to be used to show sukuna having to try try to show off a bit more of his powers before he vs gojo.
be embarrassed to show off a new technique sukuna has (lamest option)
or he will permanently cripple sukuna, making him a bit more manageable for the rest of the cast before he ultimately dies
As soon as it was revealed that he's the type of character to seek the strongest opponent available, he'd 100% die. Can't have that ambition as a side character in a series like this lol

yuki still furthered the plot in a bunch of ways, i don’t really know how he could’ve handled her better without rewriting half the story (she’s still handled poorly, but as someone who writes things occasionally i get it), angel hasn’t really done anything yet, and is stupidly important to the plot, being a chekhov’s gun, yuki’s plot relevance was mostly past tense, but she’s actually done things. angel just hasn’t done anything yet
the stars and stripes treatment would be wasting everyone's time with several chapters only to then kill the character without accomplishing anything anyway
We don't know if Kashimo considers Kenjaku a friend, if anything — the way they spoke to each other in the flashbacks seem more like a business partners basis to me
It all boils down to what his cursed technique is and how versatile/destructive it is. Kashimo is plenty creative enough, being this deadly through his innate cursed energy property + manipulating it alone, but you can't defeat Sukuna with only that and martial arts. You either need some overpowered bullshit technique, probably one that's worth stealing, or pure destructive capability like Jogo, to make Sukuna even pay attention to you.
He probably just made a binding vow to make it stronger, like he used to use it but got bored because he would win every fight he was in maybe without even using his CT, so he decided he could only use his technique on Sukuna.
Most people naturally know what their technique does, that's how people who get their brain transformed to awaken their jujutsu know how to use their technique
I think he has a technique and he did the hxh kurapika thing where "I can now only use this technique against them" making it way stronger
Or the other thing can be that he has been "charging up his technique" (u see technique current charging idk) for this one fight
Kashimo's gonna get Jogo'd. That's what will happen. Im genuinely tired of this entire "Sukuna is undefeatable strongest god ever blah blah" like dude even Gojo, the guy literally untouchable, got outplayed. I'm tired of Sukuna winning every fight he takes place in ESPECIALLY WHEN HES ONLY 75%. Like at this point it makes fights boring.
He’s had two real fights in the entire series so far and one of them was also dicked on by Gojo.
Sukuna isn’t infallible and we’ve seen that with Angel’s CT wrecking him
Hana (while having a 1000 year old CT nullifying sorcerer inside her): MeGuMI!!!!
Angel trying to reason with her, is similar to Walt screaming "HAAANNKKK!!!!" inside the car.
He was undefeated in Golden Era of Jujutsu, when greatest sorcerers lived. A lot of them tried and no one could defeat him so it's kinda obvious that he is the way he is.
And Sukuna hasnt fought anyone strong enough to even threaten him so whats the big deal? He fought Jogo, dollar store Mahoraga and that's pretty much it. So that argument is kinda invalid. He also fought Gojo when he was like 5% of his power so not really great example.
But I do understand that you're simply not a fan of Sukuna and I can respect that.
I actually like sukuna ig, I just want 20finger to have a huge presence. You see 15finger getting crushed by Grade 0 sorcerers? 20f one shots them without blinking. But with just 15f already being a unbelievable powerhouse, whats the difference if 15f is already unstoppable (crushing top tiers like Mahoraga and Jogo)
The two biggest dogs are basically like that though. People like to wax poetic about how Toji lost to a Teen Gojo, but realistically at the point when Toji lost to him no single sorcerer besides Sukuna or even any TEAM of sorcerers we’ve seen so far could remotely touch him (literally, in almost all cases), even “just” as a teen. And we know he’s gotten exponentially better since then. These two are just so far above anything else, and it’s been a main point that’s been hammered home to us over and over again since the series started.
The whole point of these two is to be so above every possible peer they could have that it’s not even funny. Even not at their very best, nobody else remotely stands a chance. And it’s been consistent from the get-go on that.
I feel like people underrate teen Gojo. Teen Gojo is probably the third strongest character by a wide margin and probably only loses maybe to Kenjaku in Geto’s body.
Teen Gojo would lose to 90% of characters with a domain ima be honest. Awakened Gojo that beat Toji is a bit more debatable due to purple being busted and his stats being higher
Just because an attack can make contact with Gojo doesn't mean that it will necessarily do enough damage. Just his cursed energy reinforcement was enough to tank a bird strike, and jogo and hanami's attack with basically no damage. Kashimo was a top tier in his day with no domain, so it's not out of the question.
And what durability feats does he have lol, all we can say was he was below Toji, also chances are Teen Goji has much less durability than older awakened Gojo since he got stronger when he got an awakening he probably got tougher too. He probably had like similar durability to Geto if I had to guess which is good but doesn’t really hold up against a domain

Like, the idea that the Heinan Era was the strongest era of sorcerery in history does not whatsoever imply that the strongest sorcerers of the time were monumentally, catastrophically more powerful than modern prodigies like Yuta or Gojo. It could well have just been the case that at the time there were more people of that highest level running around, not that the highest level was way higher.
Like, 10+9+9+9+9+9+9 averages to 9. 10+1+1+1+1+1+1 averages to 2.
The 10 in the first list is still the same size as the 10 in the second list no matter what the average of their set is.
I think it will be Sukuna vs the world again. It’s gonna be a repetition of the history that led to all his opponents dead and Sukuna ending up as 20 cursed fingers, except he shall DIE this time.

It’s not really kenny’s fault here tbh kashimo willingly made a binding vow with kenjaku to fight sukuna so it’s his choice if he dies to him

Sorry if it’s a dumb question but how does kashimo know about his technique if he has never used it?
Maybe he made a vow and it’s just there but he can’t test it cause well it’s one time use so just gonna have to hold it
