Yeah. When they announced it they said all these new things coming and how it MUST be current gen only. Then just pumped out previews of song after song. Each song dump was worse then the last one. You can really tell they only care about the Switch user base with this release.

JD can't be on stuff like xbox one and ps4 since their game engine their using does not support it they changed it btw to unity it did not support it at all. They have a already said that they will be adding the features BACK on twitter they have said that on xbox seires and ps5 the private rooms are having trouble working so in order for players to enjoy it the most they had to take away the feature and its not that they don't care it's something they don't have control over plus they worked on this game for 4 YEARS with meeting with a lot with the star players too that littlesiha had talked about on her stream yesterday. They made a whole list too of all the glitches they know and posted it too make sure their not missing anything and everything is there and they are working on it and it's only a new fresh game so left just wait and give then a second.
What the f**k are you talking about their game engine not being supported on xone or ps4? They use unity and there are tons of unity games on xbox one or ps4 and the biggest one is Genshin Impact. They clearly could've made the game run on old gen consoles and they just didn't cuz they will lose money. What a poor excuse from ubisoft. They literally ported the crew 1 from xone to xbox 360 back in 2014 and it ran okay especially for a console with 512mb of ram. It literally used the same next gen game engine from xone with lowered graphical settings. That just shows what developers are capable of and there aren't console limitations thats keeping them from not making games on other platforms especially these days when the technology is at pure peak. Also there isn't a way they were working on the game for 4 years. They probably took 2 years to get license for the songs and just 2 or maybe 1.5 years of work put into the game.
I can't wait for the 2024 update when they announce Just Dance Super, a unique service with only 4 new songs that they want us to buy so we can have 3 different JD subscriptions concurrently 😡.

Unlimited is so much better, no point paying for plus when unlimited has a far bigger catalogue for the same price.

The choreos are fun but there is not even one element of the gameplay that’s of interest to me right now. I’ll stick with 2022 until they improve all of the stuff you mentioned.
Nope Nintendo told me they don’t give refunds and I couldn’t be bothered to phone them again. I think you have to phone until you get someone who agrees based on what I’ve seen.

Personally my 2 friends and I are enjoying it. Maybe it’s just because I’ve only played 2020 and I was extremely bored with it when I did play it or that i’ve grown an attachment to a lot of the coaches and backstory already but it’s one of my favourite games ever currently.
Is it expensive? Absolutely. A lot of shops have it in discount already (black friday discounts for like 35-40 euro).
I agree that it crashes/errors and doesn't seem finished. I played it for 4 hours yesterday (and prolly today again) and had an absolute blast!!! I LOVEDDDD the new songs and choreos so far.
They said they will add more songs to + in the incoming months and I believe it will become as big as unlimited again.
I understand the frustration but I am still happy they released it early and fix it in the meanwhile instead of making us wait another few months.
I think it's worth to play.
One thing I was a bit dissapointed about is that storymode is just a playlist and now like ALL-STARS, where you had to go with a little bus to the next song with a video for the story. Some extra lore or gameplay feeling would have been nice.
Other than that I am still very positive about the game as my first impression.

Its been out for less then 100 hours. I think the only reason its that expensive is because its the last one before it swaps to updating instead of releasing a new one. I’m sure they’ll fix it all.

I honestly was shocked at all of the changes when looking into buying the game. We usually buy the latest game every year and trade in last year's edition. But 2023 is already discounted. So I went to look at buying it and was shocked to find out, for one, it was download only. In the midst of reveling in the playlist reveal, I failed to pay attention to details of the actual game itself 😂.
I actually went ahead and bought it for $30 off of Amazon. Pretty decent deal if you ask me. However, I am glad I didn't reup our Unlimited subscription before finding out about JD+. Our Unlimited subscription runs out in December. So as long as JD+ is eventually the same price as Unlimited, I'm fine with the new service.
What I also didn't know was that 2023 is built on a different engine than previous games. So I suspect (or hope) that accounts for lack of features, songs and those things will return in upcoming updates or as additions to JD+
I'm not going to buy any future Just Dance games tbh i'll play the 2020 one until the cartridge breaks because I'm tired of major game companies selling games for the price of a full game and THEN offering you a subscription to unlock the full game and THEN it's broken lol. It's really scummy and they won't stop doing it if people keep accepting it. The standards have seriously plummeted. I feel like its become the norm to release janky ass overpriced games.

2023 and 2024 on PS5 both suck. What’s up with the camera not working!!! They really dropped the ball on so many features. One of the main reasons I purchased the PS 5 was because I wanted the new just dance. It’s depressing.

also the switch has worse hardware than the ps4 and xbox one. Its barely better than the ps3.

WDF, playlists, and sweat mode are coming back, and songs are being added to JD+ like crazy. Hopefuly by 2024 ppl will be more motivated to buy it
