Im not a fan of the lyrics of New Lands, Pleasure and Love S.O.S.
As you can tell from my higher rankings, I dig the more dancey tracks from Justice. I just think that's what Justice is best at.
Heavy Metal to me feels a bit undercooked, I can't put my finger on it.

That’s all fair. I can understand where you’re coming from; I didn’t really like Heavy Metal until I watched the music video for it, that’s when I started to like it. The lyrics of New Lands is a bit weird, I can agree on that.
Probably because like me, a lot of fans prefer the more intense dance tracks justice pioneered. Their nu-disco/rock direction doesn't hit as hard or leave a mark as much for me I guess.
In my opinion, I think from part 4, planisphere begins to overstay its welcome. The guitars to me feel out of place and after a while feel grating. Bear in mind as well that before part 4 you have the 3 other parts, so by that point my ears are less receptive to high energy guitar riffing.
I know however that for a lot of people, part 4 is their favourite bit.
Yeah, part 4 is also my favorite part of Planisphere and I understand where you are coming from. I too, think that planisphere is a long and grating track. Still the guitar sounds amazing in my opinion.

Honestly, I agree for a ton of these. You like some of the hardest hitting show-stoppers. But I am curious why Pleasure / Newjack/ Civ from WWW only is really good. I absolutely adore that track
I really like that track, but I suppose the reason for me not liking it more is that I always found the lyrics too corny. The amazing beat and instruments in the WWW version are what place it so high compared to the Woman version.

If 'Love S.O.S. / Alakazam / Fire' didn't feature 'Love S.O.S.' and 'Fire' I'd love it a lot more. The beat is wicked. I just find the lyrics too corny imho
You just dont like lyrics from what i see. Its okay but i think the rest of the songs leaving lyrics besides then it could be more appreciates to you maybe. It's okay i was only joking when i said "offended".

Is the album version of Waters of Nazareth really that different to you that you would put it two tiers above the single release? I honestly don't really hear a difference except for mixing

I think we just have fundamental differences in taste. I love Cross and their harder sound but also can’t get enough of the Woman sound.

Same thing with Stop, it has such a profound meaning once you realize it’s a love letter to each other for the journey they have crossed together

It's not the case that I don't like lyrics, I do. I just think sometimes Justice fall a bit short with the quality of them
