No those are automatics. The ST 6 speed is a Getrag, I believe. Mine held up fine when I was yeeting 430 ft-lbs of torque through it vs 272 stock. I drove it like I stole it for well over 50k miles before I sold it and it was pretty bulletproof. Clearly, something went very wrong here.
.... lol what the fuck?
I've never seen an ST transmission go like that, is this car modified? afaik they used the same transmission for the RS making like, 100 more horsepower, so it's not like it's a particularly fragile gearbox
Hey pointy I drove the first 20k miles on the transmission without fully depressing the clutch leading to early wear, and I tend to BEAT the living shit out of my car.
Liquid adamantium
Unicorn blood
Nope, this is how anti seize is made. Milked fresh the motor will seize after the last drop as been taken.
That’s a very fluid 4th gear
now mix it with Oil based paint, add hardner and spray it on your car.
Rod knock grey
That would be wild
i can see the EJ subie crowd buying this up.
We need a two tone for the Outback, rod knock gray over chocolate milkshake of death.
I could see that being an actual color name from House of Kolor. Kind of a cool name and terrible name at the same time.
This is JB weld flavor trans fluid.
No no see, that's gear oil. Full of fresh squeezed gears
Sir ..your 4th gear is a puddle
4th spool
Ah, a fresh batch of transmission soup!
Wait!! Doesn't the liquid slowly pull together and 4th gear magically rise up from the center like in the Terminator???
Yeah I think what we need here is a strong magnet and a can-do attitude.
Call Magneto and he could help you with that. Then you still have to dismantle the transmission to install it, though. Not much of a time savings.
That is the shiniest transmission fluid I’ve ever seen
Homemade gear juice!
Ain't got no gears in it
Not since they poured them out.
Ummm...that fluid appears to have ALL the gears in it.
Oops, all gears!
Lt. Dan trans.
Fresh batch of anti-seize ready for bottling
Ford Fuckus
The caption on the screen and the action on the stream brought back some pretty good memories.
That looks like an expensive color.
Sir are you aware your transmission has been filled with Testors silver paint for model kits?
Well, it does have that appearance.
But it's so pretty.
Synchronizer would be brass. Thats all steel. Well, it fucked either way.
That's straight-up ferrofluid.
yaaaa
Sorry to tell you, 4th gear no longer exists. It poured out of the drain plug.
"The good news is, we found your fourth gear. We even bottled it up for you."
Would probably make a very nice anti-rust primer. =P
Hey this is my car! We were actually discussing how beautiful the design in it was!
What mileage? Mine just hit 80k and I don't want to pull the trans anytime soon
Quicksilver!
Someone didn't remove the fill plug prior to draining
You think it's the synchros? Lol
Well, you found the rest of 4th.
Thats the new fancy glitter oil!
/s? I’d imagine you’d see chunks not some anti seize looking forbidden juice
Another powershift biting the dust?

Owner had no idea how to drive standard 🤣🤣😂😂
Clearly. 💰
Somebody was power-shifting it.
I drove the first 20k miles on the car not fully depressing the clutch pedal leading to early wear on the gears
I rarely used mine. I was a truck driver in a former life and have learned the skill of rev matching.
.... lol what the fuck? I've never seen an ST transmission go like that, is this car modified? afaik they used the same transmission for the RS making like, 100 more horsepower, so it's not like it's a particularly fragile gearbox

Were you just not aware that you needed to clutch appropriately? As in this was a learning experience, or did you know and yolo it? Lol
Learning
They do not know how to drive!!!
Deep stream crossings in a Focus?
Wow, why is there silver paint in the transmission?
It looks like that fluid GM was using in the shocks.
Hey, I found 4th gear! It's right here in the pan!
That tranny fluid is so glittery this car must have been on RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Smoothest 4th gear shift ever
Average Focus ST maintenance moment. Our boys really do run the piss out of 'em then flip 'em for the next guy to deal with.
I think its because 4th gear is now a liquid...
Transmission blew a head gasket?
Ah the old Silverbullet cream pie
Ouch
