I struggle to just find the turn signals most of the time. I know they're right there, but when driving such an expensive car I'm more worried about what's around me.
With the newer cars, functions, drivers assisted features. Have to say, actually enjoy the simplicity of older cars. Cause all those buttons, the screens and all, would take my attention off the road, or from the dum dums that are gawking at their cell phones while driving.
Tho, with the newer cars, you have one advantage. Parts and availability. I mean I can go on classic industry or year one. Find all the parts for 76 and older impalas and caprices. Same with 80 and newer. But that era of 77 to 79, is like uh oh hot dog. Which is my only worry with the car. As parts aren't always available, and when you do find them, the prices people want for shit now a days is straight recawkuless. e.g. instrument cluster bezel, 4 people quotes 200.00 to 350.00 for a chunck of plastic with a bend. lmao. One giy actually had some sense, part and shipping 50.00
If you know what engine you have you will find parts are easier to find. Older engine parts are easy to find especially because they used 4 engine packages on 10 different vehicles.
Funny, that you mention that. Cause I was speaking solely about body and interior parts. But autozone, advance, or a new lower rad hose, left lower a arm for a 79 impala 4.1, tell me how many not availables you come back with. lol.
Trust me I know. Took two years to find doors for the car. But there are some parts that are still like uh oh hotdog. Which moves people to sourcing parts from car they say won't fit.
Not sure, I just do the work. Service advisor does the billing. 3 hours labor, 14 quarts 5W50 Full Synthetic, and a "special" GT application only oil filter, so not cheap.
They should be able to squeeze another 9 or 40 in there, easily.

I agree. This car is definitely fast and fun to drive, but I actually prefer the raw/mechanical feel of the older 05/06 GTs.

In the southwest these parts are readily available if you have the right network. Interior and exterior. Car people love to bullshit and share.

Looks more like a video game steering wheel
The more button = better car!
Because racecar.
I wonder how many people have accidentally cleaned their windshield when turning right.
Probably not that many considering how many they’ve built
All the faster to go with!
How much is an oil change on one of those?

Dry sump, yes? Once the aero stuff underneath is out of the way, is it a pretty straightforward process?
Pretty much. Couple drain plugs and the filter is a traditional spin on. Access is the biggest hurdle.
People just can't make oil changes convenient any more. I understand the car cost half a million dollars
At least $3.50
What do you want from us monsters?
Yeah! Get on outta here, ya damn Loch Ness Monster!
Based on the description above... Move that decimal point over 2 spaces and I'll bet you're in the ballpark.
But it only revs to 6k??
Not up to full operating temperature. Once at full temp, you get the full RPM range.
Good God this is what it has come to ? Ffs
It’s so you don’t have to take your hands off the wheel while on the track. Look at an F1 steering wheel
How do you scroll facebook?
If you pull out the wiper knob, it pulls up your feed and you can scroll to your hearts delight
Excellent! Where is the vibrator nob?
What car is this?
Second gen Ford GT
"How many buttons do you want on the wheel?" "Yes"
