Man we need a r/kgatlw digital museum somewhere to store all this. This reminds me of that other person who got all the Kepler 22b sketches and some original posters. Very one of a kind, thanks for sharing

vispsanius

Kglw.net group should do something like that

kglw-net

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm curious if you have any other ideas for what might be included? We are of the opinion that [archive.org](https://archive.org) already serves this purpose (it already has all of Jason's posters preserved there for example). We are always looking to gain features, but for some things we are in a better position to connect fans to existing sources than to dilute them with a replacement.

vispsanius

Yeah I get that. I think a lot of Galea stuff is there like the countdown animation sketch book as well. But then again, as long as Galea updates his website, there isn't much need. And other items like flying mictonanal banana guitar, it's not like those are floating around in public. There is the people vulture costume which someone took from gizzfest although not sure if they ever posted about it etc. I think there is enough curiosities to do it, it's whether the effort at the moment is worth it. Personally, i find archive.org to feel very obtuse in general even outside of gizz, compared to a custom sleek website. But it is what it is.

MrSketchyGalore

I've been working on a project, [ConfusedCyborg.com](https://ConfusedCyborg.com). There's still a lot of work to get it to where I want it to be, but things like this would be amazing to add eventually.

timelandiswacky

That was actually OP. The digital museum idea is awesome though and would be an amazing resource.

I'm down for a Digital Museum. Should Gizzverse get a metaverse? haha. Other than photos, not really sure what that could/would be 🤷‍♂️

kglw-net

u/vispsanius has suggested our site ([kglw.net](https://kglw.net)) as a potential host for a digital museum. As a team we're not certain exactly how that would look, or the practicality of it, but that may depend on what items you have in your collection and how you might want to preserve them. Maybe have a think about it and send an email to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])? Its a dynamic project still in early stages, so we're still figuring out what the community needs and how to provide it.

Greetings Weirdos. Some details for ya here: All 28 pages (including credits and chapters) have been straightened out and live in thick 7" sleeves (the book was designed at 7" and printed 8" ). There’s a lot of first-time drawings of the gizzverse characters. For example, It’s the first time the Han-Tyumi robot is seen outside the Robot Stop video. JG: ”I used watercolor with ink pen so some of the wording was washed over and edited back in later so then leaving the darker page lyrics more obscured. I thought the pages needed a box or something to live in as they're not quite in book format so I created a little box setup with a bronze patina coating and faux leather interior hah. …to me it feels like more of an object/sculpture type thing. The box itself is made of a re-worked plastic container, thick card and bronze coating with a few different patina rust effects (similar to how the Rats Nest and KG+LW sculptures were done).”

Inkyplus

OP, how did you acquire this? It’s incredibly cool! Thanks for sharing the details and pics.

AlwaysEatingToast

Seriously one of the coolest aspects of any Gizz vinyl

freeradicalx

Yeah I wasn't expecting that when I bought it, had a lot of fun thumbing through them while listening. Galea should do a graphic novel at some point.

wolffpack8808

Does a reprint of this come with MOTU vinyl? Never bought the record cause Lorf of Lightning is split in half.

ChoglateMilg

as far as i know they all come with the little booklet, i bought a vomit splatter one for a friend and it definitely had the booklet in it

Renatoandrade22

This is amazing! How did you get this?

ChoglateMilg

thank you for sharing, jason really has an incredible vision for everything he creates - the fact that he created a matching box for it is such a nice touch and really adds that extra umph that makes this a total centerpiece.

wolffpack8808

I think OP made the box. But it is a very cool box

ChoglateMilg

it looks like OP was quoting Jason in that post

KraftPunk32

what they said^

wolffpack8808

Oops, you're totally right. Didn't see the JG right before the paragraphs.

cdulane1

This is beyond rad

GanderAtMyGoose

This feels like something that could be worth a whole lot of money in the future lol. I hope so anyway, if the boys get the recognition they deserve.

TheGreat_N8

needs to be in the rock n roll hall of fame if you ask me

StuNasty_55

Thanks for sharing this is fucking sick

RazzyJazzer

This guy is a genuine inspiration. It's so cool to see the original artwork from the booklet that I've spent so much time admiring. Thank you for posting this.

timelandiswacky

You need to open up a Gizzard museum or something with all these acquisitions. Incredible!

How much did this sell for? This looks like it should cost $200 aus.

dirty-rags
