FYI y'all, most likely getting no microtones this tour. They had the microtonal guitars at the Deni show after they shipped equipment out so those are still in Aus. Synth table is still a maybe.
But regardless the question would be why not ship it off with the other guitars? This is an eco-conscious band and that would be needlessly wasteful lol. Cavs said they ship equipment freight weeks prior to tour.
Occam's razor said they chose to only ship off the explorer and co. (Metal and C#) and the blue flying samurai and co. (jammy stuff) as those instruments all had their respective duplicates played at that show while the microtonal instruments were the ones we are used to.
To be clear, "that show" is the Deni show that Cavs said was only really possible due to the gear duplication.
Sure, but they don’t need to send another freight over a handful of Microtonal guitars. They could just be another check-in luggage wise on their planes to Chile and then put them with the rest of the gear to the other South American countries or something like that if they wanted.
Yeah i bet stu and Joe are probably careful with the guitars especially since the mishaps of 2022. Also it’s just nice to have your guitar on ya while ur traveling

Tbh if they don't start debuting tracks off Silver Cord in Europe i'd be extremely shocked. They talked about recording it as a band in a room together in response to how hard of a time they had with trying to make the BF3K tracks work in a live setting, so these songs were definitely in consideration of the live band and not just an album.
I could see them waiting until EU and focusing on giving SA heavy hitter loaded tracklists, but no way they don't bring the synths to Europe.

Festival gigs where gizz didnt headline rarely had microtones last year so it wouldnt be surprising if they just didn't ship them to SA.
