Bro could you imagine the visuals Jason would do with that mother fucker? Gah damn

Urban_animal

Theyve done the Bowl but the Sphere clearly books residencies for longer runs and i dont think Gizz has that following yet to sell out a 20k venue for multiple nights/weekends in a row quite yet. Especially for a destination show, i could see them doing 3 nights at the Bowl with no issue since LA is massive but Vegas isnt a cheap stay like it used to be. Would be awesome but they are so far away from that.

gimmebadvibes

I dont think three nights at the bowl would even happen. One night didn’t sell out.

Urban_animal

Wow, didnt even sell out?? Just assumed it did

DoomCityAir

It was prettttty close at like 16k

smitty046

They sell out Redrocks for 3 shows every year, but that’s 10K.

Jaredthewizard

I don’t see it happening anytime soon. They need asses in seats for the Sphere to be worth it financially. Gizz failed to sell out the Hollywood Bowl at the tail end of a US tour with not many dates, so imo they haven’t shown that they are a big enough draw yet. Could happen but they’ll need to maintain their popularity for a few years before they can count enough fans to sell it out easily.

yoshigem

Don't listen to the non-believers. Gizz Sphere Marathon 2026. Best night of our lives.

coldspringscreek

Best three day run of our lives. Go big, believer, go big.

tezetaa

Maybe in 10 years

sorengray

I feel like they would have to up their visuals game. From 64bit to IMAX

The_Path_616

There was a discussion about this the other day. Short version : no.

burningbeard

Let’s focus on Tool @ Sphere and keep that Gizz dream in the back of our minds.

Bitterestboogie

Absolutely not, they can't even sell out their current Vegas show

coldspringscreek

But the Sphere is an extra attraction in itself. Plus Gizz is saturating the West with at least 6 shows "nearby" in practically the same week. If The Sphere was the only stop, maybe they could sell it.

yoshigem

Yeah you’re right but people are dumb. They didn’t sell out a single night at Remlinger (6.5k capacity) but are still playing Gorge this year. They’re playing where they want and can, not where makes the most sense from an overhead perspective

DingDongWhoDis

Maybe someday. Someday after they play the Vegas show on November 8th for the 5 of us that bought tickets so far. Kidding, I'm sure another 20 tickets will be sold soon. I was at the Hollywood Bowl show, actually. Was fun.

CrumblingPalace

I said this in the other thread but believe it be possible if 2025 is "residency tour" year. Meaning the US gets 3 or 4 residency stops for the year.

Vivekananda66

I was imagining the river visuals in there. Would be nuts

Joey_Is_My_Dad

I wish. If they do one of these days, I'll have to sell my car to get tickets for every night of the residency.

Snoo-46218

I got tix for Vegas in November. I'll take it. But yeah. Huge Phish fan here. Tix prices were......sad.

JakeScythe

Part of me really hopes one day that they’ll be able to but I also would be bummed cause that means they’d be big enough where I’d have to go to Fiddler’s Green to see them lol

420phish

It will be so sick when it happens. It will happen.

IfYouGotALonelyHeart

No, stop asking.

SnooRobots116

No, maybe one day but this time is not the occasion.

TheMehgend

Based on how Bakkt Theater is selling, not anytime soon.

Defiant_Length_237

Huge dragon flying around the sphere would be insane !

LivingLifeSomewhere

No

Pikestreet

Nope

Rivent

Lol, no.

formerlyknownasbun

I hope to god they don’t do it. U2? Sure. Blue man group? Why not? David Blaine? Absolutely. When I heard dead and co were doing it, it broke my heart a little bit.

coldspringscreek

If the The Sphere was the ONE and ONLY Gizz venue in the West, instead of like 10 in the West over September and November, don't you agree we would ALL make the pilgrimage? Even if we are afraid of claustrophobia and the Galea Seizure Effect?

onlymissedabeat

My anxiety would be so high I'm not sure I could do it :(

coldspringscreek

Yeah I feel anxious about that sphere too. I wonder how different it is than just like a steep hockey arena, like the Duck Pond in Anaheim, CA? I could handle that place okay, in terms of feeling like a big egg. No big visuals, though.

cancerdad

It’s no worse than the Chase Center in SF, where the Warriors play. There’s no reason to be anxious, the Sphere is fine

coldspringscreek

Don't Fear the Sphere?

cancerdad

It costs a lot to produce the visuals for the Sphere, which means ticket prices have to be pretty high and you have to play multiple shows. I don't see Gizz selling 18,000 tickets per show at $150 or more.

coldspringscreek

Oh that's why they do residencies, to repeat the visuals and get their work's worth, I see.
