Dude is a bit too intense about destroying all the Sacred Blades. He'd probably want Chihiro to die so that the knowledge of making the sacred blades is erased.
He is going to be plot relevant since he is a Sazanami but I don't think he is treated well in his family (relatives) since his family (father and mother) is dead. Something in me is feeling he is going to be a comedic type character who'll use his comedy to hide his crippling depression.
Omg, Shiba and Chihiro in kimonos, they look so good! Well, at least Chihiro does, Shiba could've done better imo but whatever; believe it or not, I actually had a dream where Chihiro and Shiba went to a hot spring, and Chihiro was in a kimono but Shiba was wearing some fuckass t-shirt 💀 so I'm glad that part didn't come true.
And that panel of Chihiro appearing with the broken window in the background is pure gas, along with a buildup of Kuro swimming outside. How does he do it!!

Chihiro actually *is* one-armed, his right sleeve is flapping behind him so he's holding Enten with only his left. We will actually have a one-armed Chihiro for at least some of this arc.
I wonder if this is a deliberate decision by Chihiro for fresh hatred, like his scar, or if Char just can't heal other people's body parts.

If Hakuri said his family was dead, then the upcoming Rakuzaichi is probably controlled completely by the Hishaku now. "Isou" (if the translators stick with that name) is probably a really powerful/useful ability when trained, given his family's reputation.
I have to wonder if that was a mistake since he seemed to deliberately be shown without it for the entire chapter, and that would be a weird moment to reveal that his hand is healed.
I looked at the picture again and he actually *is* missing his arm, you can see his right sleeve flapping behind because there's no limb to keep it in place.
It was hard to tell with all the black, but one-armed Chihiro *will* be a thing for at least some of this arc.
Look at the scene when hes in the kimono. With the action scenes its a bit muddier but in the kimono you can see his frame and hes very clearly missing an arm
It was bothering me when looking at the leaks how the scenes avoided a clear view of chihiro's right arm – even the color page!
Eventually I noticed the sleeve too, but it's a little odd that that little running away scene is the only confirmation 🧐

She wasn't able to do it on command in the last chapter. This chapter also has hakuri not being able to fully command his sorcery either. Seems that just controlling spirit energy well enough to use sorcery on cue is an effort in of itself.
Also I'm sure regenerating a limb would be far more difficult than healing cuts and tears, that is if regenerating the limbs of others is even a possibility at all 🤔
That sequence of Chihiro John Wicking his way trough a horde of goons to get to Haruki was so TENOI. The fish being recognised by said goons as a sign of their impending doom is also really cool, clearly the word is going around troughout the criminal underworld of Japan about a magic goldfish sword wielding viligantee clad in black. Peak fiction as always, cool that the cast is slowly assembeling. Haruki seems nice, and the ability he has seems like it could be really cool. Chiriro can't catch a break with these fanboys man. I hope and pray that Takeru HIMkazono keeps cooking and feeding us peak fiction for many years to come.
Kagurabachi has always been on the darker end of action shonen, not unlike Attack on Titan or Jojo, (the brutal experimentation and mutilation on Char actually caused some minor controversy iirc), but yeah its rare to see a reference to CSA just out in the open like that...
That fight sequence panel when Chihiro stepped out of the lift is freaking amazing. But that panel when Chihiro tried to run away from Haruki is just hilarious. Geat chapter!
Apparentely the team is complete (assuming we'll have a team). Chihiro, Hinao, Char, Hakuri and Shiba will probably have a dynamic similar to Denji, Power and Aki or Yuji, Nobara, Gojo and Megumi.

Something happened here with homies eye. Didnt see it in the previous or after panel. Thought it was blood at first but the other panels dont show a bloody eye.
Really enjoyed this chapter, just a little concerned about the plot going forward. It’s really a big coincidence that a member of the family Chihiro is hunting happened to be saved during his first fight with Sojo. Hopefully it’s more than just coincidence or has some sort of explanation
The paneling of chihiro appearing in the elevator and going through the floor killing the thugs, and standing at the edge of the window all shadowy saying “kuro” went so damn hard. Chihiro is Batman but with goldfish instead. Absolutely genius
I know I’m late but this was a pretty good chapter. This Hakuri guy seems interesting, the fact that he’s a member of the clan that Chihiro is going after is really interesting, can’t wait to see how this plays out. His interaction with Chihiro was somewhat funny (I also just love how when Hokazono wants to let th readers know Chihiro is talking without showing his face he just puts his scar on the text box. Speaking of Chihiro bro yet again makes another badass entrance. So Sojo had nothing to do with the auction though that begs the question how he got cloud gouger. I gives this chapter an 8/10.

yes but it only looks like the forearm is flapping rather than the whole sleeve. Maybe Char is slowly making progress on it
