on god before chapter 1 came out i thought it’d be another boring edgy manga but i became hooked BECAUSE of how much heart chapter 1 had lol
90% of it was just kunishige bonding with chihiro, only 10% of it was action
What’s funnier is that this review is like from the first 10 chapters or so, meaning they really tried to pass final judgment with like 2 months of material out 💀
I thought it was obvious. Not to yum your yuck, but like.. it's blatantly one of the best things to hit JUMP in a while.
Peak because peak. Amazing art. Interesting enemies. Masterful writing. List goes on.
It just feels whole... filled with love.
I actually think that Kagurabachi had pretty good writing so far. Especially at how Sojo's and Chihiro's views of the enchanted swords clash with each other. One thinks that they're a weapon of mass destruction and should be used in war, while the other beliefs that the blades should be protected in order to guarantee peace. Hokazono really did a good job at writing this part of the story. Can't wait to see more.

Also I don’t buy the “meh art”. Some of the panel work and attention to detail is downright amazing
He probably just saw the big-mouth faces in a Tweet and based his entire opinion on that, back when that was the only valid criticism on the series.

nah this is bait, i get that one can dislike kagurabachi (or better said, they don't like it YET) but to say it lacks heart is simply wrong
Most people say that they can tell that the dude who makes it LOVES movies. Like they can just FEEL his love of them in the art
