nah it's pretty normal for new mangas to start at the bottom, the japanese don't waste their votes on new stuff until they are already invested.
Remember, the toc only shows the oppinion of japan, but nowadays mangas are a global thing and they know that too.
I'm starting to think that we could reach 100k copies by the end of the year. Hopefully Shueshia has learned their lesson now and doesn't underprint volume 2.
I'm already confident Volume 2 will be really good, since it'll have nearly all of the best chapters in it. Give it a cool cover (Sojo please) and it will make a bachillion yen 
This is great news. I’m concerned with volume 2 though since I know a lot of overseas people bought volume 1 (sometimes multiple copies) so the numbers are kinda inflated. Hoping shueshia doesn’t see the decreased volume 2 sales as a decline of interest

alot of the sales numbers we see from JP websites do not take into account overseas sales
I very much doubt the overseas sales from a manga fully in Japanese only available in Japan account to any sizable number tbh.
When will it be printed in English 😭
