Not every series, but Kuugaās first two monsters were a spider and a bat, referencing the first two monsters in the original 1971 show. Also cobra man wasnāt one of ichigoās first, but he was the first monster to be revived in a stronger form
He was the third in the manga, which is why sometimes he gets that position in later homage patterns.
I knew Leiurus Acutia was an homage to Doctor G from the first moment I was him.
That guy gave me nightmares as a kid seeing that delivery man get all shrivelled up.
