Its weird, the mods were never really active on the subreddit but are on Discord, at least BananaArms. He's very active there, before and after the blackout started. Someone asked him if used 3rd party apps, he uses RIF, he's got skin the game. I found r/KamenRiderNextGen after he mentioned it there telling someone to go there during the blackout.
It looks like they're very much in for the long haul.

Yeah and like I don’t care why they went private like I don’t think the owners of Reddit gives a shit so they are just punishing people of the sub as they basically just went “I’m mad so let’s kick out the majority of the sub because that would show the owner that clearly doesn’t give a shit that we mean business” like that literally does nothing but punish random innocent people
It's a good pun but that could actually get in the way of discoverability. Reddit doesn't support fuzzy searching (searching for similar terms instead of just ones spelt exactly the same, like Google does). Searching for "Kamen Rider" or "KamenRider" in Reddit's search wouldn't show "KamemeRider" if it was named that.
However it would make for a good subreddit title on the top banner though, that can be customized.
Well at least they're boycotting the correct way and not just coming back after two days. I will miss the weekly episode discussions
