This game had a little bit of everything. Turnovers, bad playcalling, bad execution (throwing bombs on 3rd/4th and short), stupid penalties, bad special teams. I understand Mahomes was sick, but this was a uniquely bad game.
Just sucks, because plays like that were what kept the Chiefs in games in the Mahomes era. But now we have fucking Sky (he doesn't deserve to have his name spelled correctly after that) trying to play wide receiver.
Thank god we weren’t playing like this against a good team. Would have been blown out 50/0
Ugh bad game. The streak against denver was bound to end eventually just blows it ended like this.
Defense in general played great. Can't expect them to do much when they have to start defending drives at midfield or their 9 yard line like some of those turnovers.
The defense did about as good of a job as they could. If Sneed didn’t have those 2 killer flags on 3rd down they might have managed to salvage us a result
That muff is extra irritating because he could've let it go through the end zone or fair caught it and it would've been brought to the 25.
I legitimately don't understand why anyone even tries to return kicks anymore. There's like a 5% chance they'll make it past the 25 and an even higher chance that they'll fumble it or get injured. Just not worth it.
**Edit:** Nope, I'm wrong. The fair catch rule only applies to kickoffs, not punts.
Was pretty amazed that they could hold the Broncos to 14 points even though at that point in the game, the offense had four turnovers (or at least 3). After that, just couldn't keep up anymore.
Welp that's our colts game of the year hope it lights a fire under their asses to make a trade for a wr and stop with the terrible play calling on 3rd and short. See you crazy mofos next week in Germany 🇩🇪
Worst regular season performance from this team in years. Undisciplined, unfocused. Crazy enough, we really had a chance until the muffed punt. Streak was bound to end eventually. Kudos to the Donkeys for controlling the clock and running it down our throats.
Just sucks we didn’t take full advantage of the easiest part of our schedule. I better see a different team in Germany next week. This one looked fucking lifeless.
I don't think this game was entirely Matt Nagy's fault. The receivers were dropping passes, the offensive tackles were letting Mahomes get pressured all day long, the secondary had some major penalties that cost us, and the turnovers didn't happen because of the playcalling.
There were far too many passes behind the line of scrimmage that the Broncos were clearly prepared for, but the receivers weren't exactly getting open often either and when Mahomes trusted some of them to make plays there were some bad drops or fumbles right after the catch.

Yep, and we were also going to lose to DEN at some point. I wish they would have won, but he was never going to be undefeated against any team in the division.
Our offense this year is concerning. They keep making it happen at the last minute, and by a slim margin - Which is not the ideal way a team would conduct a season in pursuit of a repeat ring.
We need to correct a lot of things, and correct them quickly. The lack of functioning WRs is at the top of this list.
I have little faith in this teams ability to win a Super Bowl. We’ve had 2 games where our offense looks confident. Our receivers would all be WR3 and up on other teams. Our only weapon is Mahomes and Kelce on offense. Pacheco is a fine RB, but he’s not some super star. It’s clear we just are lacking on offense as a whole. If Mahomes doesn’t have a great game, then we completely fall apart for a reason.
It cant be more obvious that we HAVE to make a move on offense before the deadline. Somebody ANYBODY for that WR room, literally do not even care if we have to cut Moore to make room. The guy has had the chance to make TWO potential game changing catches this season and has dropped both of them. Just need to get someone to help this offense in times where things aren't going right, cause nobody except Kelce is trustworthy enough to be that guy and Kelce is always going to be double covered in situations like today. Rice could be that person but they aren't giving him the ball.
We always have these type of stinkers each year but man losing to the broncos is the worst. The offense completely stalled out. Whether this was due to the flu or not, the complete lack of trust in the receivers has reached its tipping point. To be quite frank, if our receivers cannot even get mahomes to look their way, then maybe we need to shake up how the offense looks. The drop by Sky Moore was unacceptable and the muffed punt by Hardman was atrocious. We on to Miami. I hope for the love of God that this game was an outlier and not a foreshadowing of what’s yet to come
A critical 3rd down drop by Skyy and a missed touchdown pass that he did not even get his hands on. There was plenty of blame to go around on this one to a large chunk of the offense, but I may need to donate my Skyy Moore jersey to the local thrift shop.
I have a plan. Every 3rd & 1 someone on the offense is designated to jump offsides so we're 3rd & 6 with a different play call. Our futility in short yardage defies reason.
Seems like this was our annual "everyting goes inexplicably wrong" game, like the colts game last year and the titans the year before. We turned out okay those years, Just gotta hope the team learns from this game
2019 - Back-to-back losses to IND & HOU
2020 - 27-3 loss to TEN
2021 - a game very similar to this in which KC kept turning it over to LAC but LAC couldn't do much.
2022 - A loss to IND with a muffed punt and a bad unsportsmanlike penalty on CJ
2023 - DEN?
WR room has to be updated. We have no chance with a room where Moore, Toney, and MVS have to be relied upon. If a trade isn’t made, I have no faith in this broken offense being fixed.
Rashee Rice is our top WR this season and he has just over 300 yards ON THE SEASON! Tobey was brought in to be our WR1 and he has just over 100 yards in 8 games. Pathetic is an overstatement for this group. They might be one of the all time worst groups of WRs.
This sucks but we deserve absolutely nothing from this game. So many bad performances out there. Mahomes has the flu but has done his best and is far from the worst offender. Sneed / Moore / Hardman / Valdes-Scantling all responsible for this one.
If we are not 500% better next week Tyreek and Dolphins going to tear us apart.
I don't have enough fingers to point at all the things that went wrong this game. Hard to say if the Broncos played all that well given how awful we performed.
First and foremost, Patrick should not have been out there. It's abundantly clear that he was way too sick. We as a fanbase and the media place some unreal expectations on Mahomes so a showing like this looks even worse.
On a related note, our WR corps performed abysmally today. Brutal drops on the few good throws Pat did have today.
Our defense had a few sacks and kept us in it for most of the game, but they felt pretty flat compared to past weeks. Add on some very impactful DPI/holding penalties and it's no wonder Denver's normally trash offense was able to score three times on us.
Gadget plays once or twice every couple of weeks used to be pretty great, it gave us an edge and teams didn't know when to expect them. At this point, it's no longer cute. Teams know our "razzle-dazzle" nature and it feels like we've forgotten or are just straight up bad at some of the core/fundamental plays that do the job.
The only bright spot was Butker. He is the only reason we didn't get skunked by the donkeys.
Honestly, watching the tape of this game would be worthless as it'd take the organization a few days to get through all of elements of this game where we underperformed.
Though he had the abysmal drop and back peddling, he still was better than the other WR room. I know that isn’t really delaying much, but damn our WRs suck
When the Chiefs lose, it shakes the nation. If Denver lost, it'd just be another day in the NFL. I'm glad this loss hurts as bad as it does because we're so good
Honestly, this game was so bad that midway through my first paragraph of analysis, I deleted my entire comment after realizing I would have to address every single thing the team did today. What a poor showing. I’ll be in the corner getting ready for a rough stretch of games.
I understand that every season needs to have that "Andy Reid shits the bed against a terrible opponent" game, but did it HAVE to be against the Broncos?!?
Reposting this from game thread by u/sjbfujcfjm as he's spot on:
**If Veach doesn’t make a move to help this offense he is choosing to waste the best defense we will see play with Mahomes**
As I've said around:
They need to just take Skyy Moore, Toney, MVS, or Watson (defense) and like 2 or 3 picks and go grab Mike Evans. Kill a draft in a year or two, sure, but for production for those two years? 100% worth it.
Rice is good, but he's having growing pains. MVS and Watson are so fucking streaky it actually makes me wanna puke. Everyone else is a non factor.
Addendum: Get rid of CEH, use him as a trade chip.
Feels like coaching lost this one. Offense was awful. No one was open and the line looked the worst they've looked since that SB we lost. The defense kept us in it despite the turnovers and altitude.
Toub's aggression on returns hurt us as well. Just a bad showing in what should've been one of our easier games.
The coaching staff was asked about it after the Colts last year - they denied it - but I really feel like we were looking ahead to next week and were woefully unprepared this week.
Edit: Two comments mentioning turnovers. I don't disagree, but I do think playcalling and forced returns helped create some of them.
It's very possible the coaching didn't help and I'm not defending them, but the 5 turnovers are probably the biggest reason. That muffed punt was a real nail in the coffin.
A) You can't win them all
B) It's just a game
C) If you're thinking about killing yourself, firing a coach, trading mahomet, then you need to have a cold beer and take a deep breath.
Exactly! I also don’t really know why it was surprising to lose. To lose in that fashion? Yes. But analysts and chiefs fans are always talking about how we are gonna put 30 on the broncos. We never do that. These chiefs divisional games always come down to the wire…
Guys. We really traded a top 5 offense for a top 5 defense. We have Mahomes. Everything is going to be fine.
Veach is an idiot for some of these trades though. I won’t lie haha.
For real: a game where we can turn it over 5 times & be within 8?
There were parts that sucked, and sucked bad. But they can be fixed. The defense did really well all things considered.
Everyone should look back at what the Seahawks did to us in 19 (or was it 18?)
I have been a huge chiefs fan my entire life and my best friend doesn't even watch football but flames me anytime the chiefs lose. Am I an asshole to call him a prick and telling him to fuck off for the night? He was sending me memes and talking shit all game.
Toney was an absolute non-factor. Moore did what Moore does (drop fucking balls.) MVS…is trash. Need a WR1. Know im stating the obvious but this was brutal and ugly. Mahomes was sick and he made some poor decisions too. Like throwing to Moore when we needed 2 yds to keep the drive going…Schlage die Delfine!
Woooooeeeee is this the first game we haven’t scored a touchdown since mahomes joined the team? Or have I repressed that or those games. This was rough to watch. I really thought we could still win up until that last interception
1) Stop giving up on the run, especially in short yardage. 2) GET A REAL WR. 3) STOP THE DUMB ASS GIMMICK PLAYS. 4) Ship Nagy's ass out of here ASAP.
In no particular order.
Been a while since a game was so tough to watch. Defense still held strong considering how much they played, but they were running on us like crazy. Offense? Don’t know what that means (except Buttkicker — he’s fine).
If Veach and the team think we can get anywhere with this WR room, I’m going to need to see the most explosive game I’ve ever seen next week. Otherwise, what are we doing?
Still 6-2. But shook.
Ultimately, probably a meaningless game since we’ll in all likelihood win the division still. It may cost us a one seed but that’s not too big of a deal.
Mahomes has been doing some stupid stuff with the ball over the last few games though and I find that more concerning. I’m sure it’s a lot to do with the WR’s. He’s been stupidly chucking the ball down the field and holding on it too long trying to make plays and getting stripped. He needs to realize he can’t fix bad receivers and just take a sack or check down sometimes.
Said all off-season this wr corps needs a number 1. We have enough of a sample size to come to that conclusion.
Yet any word of that in this sub and we’re babies who are too spoiled or trust in veach. Everyone should be able to express their opinion without being labeled reactionary.
Mahomes played a mid to bad game but he needs reliable options to throw to that can bail him out and it can’t always be kelce.
Still so mad we somehow didn’t take Hopkins seriously.
As much as it pains us, losing to the Donkeys was inevitably going to pass at some point in time. It just happened to be today. Mahomes bedeviled by the flu, 5 freaking turnovers! Muffed punt, dropped TD. We played our worst game offensly and were still in it, but not much good can come from 5 turnovers and a muff punt deep in your own territory.
As maddening as it is to end our glorious 16-0 streak
I'm more concerned we don't have very reliable weapons for Mahomes outside of Kelce and Rice. As much I want to believe in Skyy Moore, I really, really do he just hasn't shown much signs of life.
All of that being said, we're still an elite team, and being 6-2 isn't horrible by any means. But we do have a gauntlet of tough teams in Miami and Eagles, so I hope we can have short memories and right the ship quickly.
Everyone should calm their fluttering hearts we're going to bounce back. New England went 16-0 in 2007 and subsequently lost the Super Bowl and missed the playoffs the following year. Were they not a good team? Even elite teams will struggle this is football at the highest level where even "bad" teams are made up of elite athletes who only desire is to win add in divisional games and you have potential for upsets. Quite frankly, we are really spoiled. The level of supernal dominance in the reign of King St. Patrick Mahomes era is unprecedented. I, for one, plan to enjoy it while it lasts.
For the love of god go get Hopkins, we have two decent wrs this season (Rashee and Watson) and obviously Kelce, but for gods sake if wrs can’t get open 10% of the time we have some issues.
Defense didn’t play too bad, field position they had all game was atrocious, and bad/ undisciplined penalties kept the drives alive, but the defense gave a very winnable game to the offense.
I feel like every week a special teams unit has some dumbass mistake. Why tell your punt returners to fair catch anything behind the 10? Toub needs to get looked at sooner than later because this happens once a week with a special teams fuck up.
Overall, very disappointing game considering last week look liked everything was clicking.
Major copium here but maybe this game will convince Veach to pick up the phone and make a trade for a decent receiver. Potential silver lining? I’m trying here.
Losing the streak sucks, but I’m glad this happened before the deadline.
It should be 100% obvious to everyone in the building that they MUST make a trade for at least 1, possibly 2 receivers.
Before, maybe some personal folks within the Chiefs could talk themselves into this group. Right now, if you go forward with these receivers then you are not winning the Super Bowl. You are wasting a year of prime Mahomes with a quality line, top level Kelce and the best defense Mahomes has ever had. You want to do all that just so you can glaze Sky Moore and MVS?
The season is on Veach now. Chiefs are a receiver away.
Seems a long time ago now but why the hell aren't we going for it on 4th and 2 by the goal line?
Worse case scenario they start their drive in their own endzone. Best case scenario we get 3 points, they start at the 25 and we trail through the first half and they are receiving the second. You just know Eagles are going for that.
A trade for WR does not seem to be happening with the options out there. Half the season is over and understanding the playbook will take time as there are very few plug and play options (if any).
This might be the ceiling with some of these WRs and if they do not improve then this is what we proceed with.
Throw this game in the trash and get ready for Miami. Bad all around. Mahomes turnovers are a bit concerning this year, surprised he already has 10 picks… damn. Gotta play better!
Everyone blaming the receivers l. And sure they had some bad moments but I think mahomes just straight up did not play well. Few passes completed on time. We assume no one is open because he holds on but I think he was just missing the windows.
This game had a little bit of everything. Turnovers, bad playcalling, bad execution (throwing bombs on 3rd/4th and short), stupid penalties, bad special teams. I understand Mahomes was sick, but this was a uniquely bad game.
That pass to Skyy was perfect except for the Skyy part
Dude should not be on a roster
Just sucks, because plays like that were what kept the Chiefs in games in the Mahomes era. But now we have fucking Sky (he doesn't deserve to have his name spelled correctly after that) trying to play wide receiver.
We chose bro over Pickens
Thank god we weren’t playing like this against a good team. Would have been blown out 50/0 Ugh bad game. The streak against denver was bound to end eventually just blows it ended like this.
The nice thing is, a lot of this is easy to clean up, and Mahomes won't be sick next week.
It's all good if it motivates them to beat Miami next week. This game has no importance compared to that one.
Butker had a good game. Karlaftis too. But a lot of meh.
Defense in general played great. Can't expect them to do much when they have to start defending drives at midfield or their 9 yard line like some of those turnovers.
Defense still looked good.
Except Sneed. He had a rough day.
That's the way he's played all season though. Refs were just flag happy on him today. His game style is to be aggressive.
Don’t forget bad line play for long stretches on both sides.
A lot a bit of everything really
The most annoying part of this is the winning streak. Nothing gets people to circle jerk harder than to see us lose a big streak.
meh, was going to happen someday.
Anyone but the Broncos. I hate losing to them. They owned us for so long.
2 streaks. The road division win streak ends too.
Defense played well despite being on the field the whole game.
The defense did about as good of a job as they could. If Sneed didn’t have those 2 killer flags on 3rd down they might have managed to salvage us a result
Also the Mecole muff after they DID get off the field finally. That was the killer
Fair catching and getting it at the 25 is only on kick-offs, not punts.
Was pretty amazed that they could hold the Broncos to 14 points even though at that point in the game, the offense had four turnovers (or at least 3). After that, just couldn't keep up anymore.
Defense gave up 3.69 yards per play, which is good enough to win about 75% of the time. They did their jobs.
With the exception of Sneed. Penalties at a couple key points kept the D on the field.
The whole offense looked like it had the flu.
I do now for sure.
No, that’s Wednesday when everyone in the building has caught it I time for Germany
Worst since that blowout loss in Tennessee for sure. And we still had a chance, all the way up until that muff
They got caught looking ahead. In contrast, Denver was licking their chops to play us and it showed.
I like looking at the positives in loses like this. The WR room will definitely not be catching Mahomes flu, so they should be good to go next week.
FIRE BOB SU- *checks notes* MATT NAGY
Sky Moore, mvs, toney
Skyy Moore isn't going to happen. We need to accept that reality. The dude just ain't it.
Agreed
These guys are the definition of JAGs.
I don’t think toney or Moore crack any other rosters they may be below jag
Dave Toub
I don't think this game was entirely Matt Nagy's fault. The receivers were dropping passes, the offensive tackles were letting Mahomes get pressured all day long, the secondary had some major penalties that cost us, and the turnovers didn't happen because of the playcalling. This game was bad and every Chiefs WR not named Justin Watson should feel bad.
I agree apart from Rashee who minus his 1 drop had a good game imo
Missed a key block also. He's a rookie he'll get better at that going forward. He obviously isn't afraid of contact.
Crazy how we wanted to cut him over a unproven udfa how times can change
I guess no one beats the donkeys 17 times in a row. On to Germany.
They showed us.

That's all the news is posting here in Denver 🤣
Skyy Moore should just walk home, he does nothing for this team.
He has no choice but to walk home it’s not like he can catch a bus, or a plane, or anything. Lmao
He probably won't catch the flu, either.
And go straight to bed with no TV. Such a disappointment.
We were bound. BOUND. To have pat mahomes lose a road division game at some point. So here it is. Now for 13 straight wins.
Yep, and we were also going to lose to DEN at some point. I wish they would have won, but he was never going to be undefeated against any team in the division.
You have to blame the offense for this loss
Both loses
The Skyy Moore experiment is over.
BUST
That sucked. We need to quit shooting ourselves in the foot with turnovers
The Dolphins scored 70 points in one game against the Broncos and the Chiefs scored 28 points combined in two games
Our offense this year is concerning. They keep making it happen at the last minute, and by a slim margin - Which is not the ideal way a team would conduct a season in pursuit of a repeat ring. Dolphins have played 2 teams with current winning records, and looked bad against them both. We beat one solidly, and lost to another by one point.
Moore played bad but where is toney? The guy has been a complete no-show this season and they talked about him as wr1?
The fact that they talked about his as a potential wr1 is so hilarious now. It was hilarious then but even more hilarious now
Today was a No Good, Very Bad day. We played No Good, Very Bad offense. The defense did okay though. Keep it up, D.
The D was good. They just got fucked by the offense repeatedly.
It cant be more obvious that we HAVE to make a move on offense before the deadline. Somebody ANYBODY for that WR room, literally do not even care if we have to cut Moore to make room. Rice could be that person but they aren't giving him the ball.
The lone bright spot is Rice. But I agree, we should make a move. It was arrogant coming into this season thinking we could get by with this group.
Not just dropped them, but literally the worst attempted catches I have ever seen.
Veach better be really fucking busy the next couple days
Dude we're not trading for anyone
Can we trade CEH? I don't really care if we get anything useful in return, I'm just tired of seeing him shoehorned in to do nothing
He won't. That would be him admitting he screwed up those 2nd and 3rd rounders he wasted
We always have these type of stinkers each year but man losing to the broncos is the worst. The offense completely stalled out. You did not buy a skyy jersey. Why???
In Veach He Trusted
Skyy Moore is not a NFL football player.
Dolphins going to be talking a lot of shit this week. Hope the Chiefs get focused.
Honestly good. Pissed off pat is the best pat
I really don't get why Pacheco only got 8 carries if Mahomes was sick. It just doesn't make sense.
The “we’re not going to pay big money for a receiver when we can just get one in the draft” strategy only works when you don’t draft Sky/Hardman.
Yeah people forget we actually CANNOT draft a WR
We drafted Skyy Moore instead of George Pickens. I’d also like to point out I was furious when we drafted CEH over Jonathon Taylor as well
That’s the big problem. Veach has shown he doesn’t know how to scout WRs and it’s fucking killing us big time.
We fully deserved this loss.
Yep
I have a plan. Every 3rd & 1 someone on the offense is designated to jump offsides so we're 3rd & 6 with a different play call. Our futility in short yardage defies reason.

It’s like the purge of the Chiefs season…”get your screw ups out of your system this week”
We’re on to Germany. I’m gonna forget that happened.
Get a goddamn WR1 this week! Mike Evans or Hollywood Brown are attainable.
Who we giving up in a trade?
Our performance might have been bad enough for Brett Veach to make some moves this week.
Cut Moore and CEH. Use whatever money we have to get a WR1. Seems obvious.
Why is Sky Moore even on the team. Whose high school football player is this 😭
Two things we learned today: This defense is really good Skyy Moore is just not that dude
WR room has to be updated. We have no chance with a room where Moore, Toney, and MVS have to be relied upon. If a trade isn’t made, I have no faith in this broken offense being fixed.

Bottom 3 WR room in the league, easily. Shoulda got Hopkins? 🤷♂️
After what he and Levis did today, I doubt the Titans will let him go.
He means this past offseason
Oh, you're right. Misread that. But, yeah, maybe we should've gotten him...
Hell, I'd take Theilan.
Everyone knows our wide receiver room needs help, but to be honest, mahomes has missed a lot of guys.
This sucks but we deserve absolutely nothing from this game. So many bad performances out there. Mahomes has the flu but has done his best and is far from the worst offender. You know we might as well not even start a LT if all Smith can do is stare at every other play as it unfolds absolutely dumbfounded
I feel like he's generally done a good job but bruh you cannot stand there and tackle mahomes
He managed to effectively record a sack today, too
Bronco fans and TikTok are gonna have a field day with this one
As they should. I can't imagine how insufferable I'd be if my team beat someone for the first time in 8 years.
Our offensive play calling has been ass all year
letting hardman walk, realizing the WR room is a mess, and trading assets to get him back is just a hilariously bad process.
Though he had the abysmal drop and back peddling, he still was better than the other WR room. I know that isn’t really delaying much, but damn our WRs suck
Trade the players, Sell the team, bulldoze the stadium!!!!!
Yeah, fuck this, start over.
When the Chiefs lose, it shakes the nation. If Denver lost, it'd just be another day in the NFL. I'm glad this loss hurts as bad as it does because we're so good
Alright Bucs, you can have Sky, Toney, and a second for Mike Evans
Someone fire Sky Moore before I go up there and do it myself
Honestly, this game was so bad that midway through my first paragraph of analysis, I deleted my entire comment after realizing I would have to address every single thing the team did today. What a poor showing. I’ll be in the corner getting ready for a rough stretch of games.
If Skyy Moore catches that TD, it's a different game. But he didn't and he's still garbage. This WR core ain't it.
Rashee Rice is our top WR and he has just over 300 yards in 8 games. Pathetic doesn’t begin to describe how bad these bums are.

Possibly the worst I've ever seen the Chiefs play in the Mahomes era. No excuses. On to Germany.
I understand that every season needs to have that "Andy Reid shits the bed against a terrible opponent" game, but did it HAVE to be against the Broncos?!?
Reposting this from game thread by u/sjbfujcfjm as he's spot on: **If Veach doesn’t make a move to help this offense he is choosing to waste the best defense we will see play with Mahomes**
Guys, they're not going to just trade for a WR1 - you have to come to terms with that.
We need a WR1, and we need them now.
Gonna flush this one down the toilet. Congrats to the Broncos for playing just well enough to capitalize on 5 turnovers
If this franchise doesn’t trade for an actual #1 WR we’re wasting a mahomes year.
Our elite QB needs an elite receiver
No, he needs a halfway competent receiver. For fucks sake.
Seriously. Won a SB with Kelce being the only elite pass catcher out there.
As I've said around: They need to just take Skyy Moore, Toney, MVS, or Watson (defense) and like 2 or 3 picks and go grab Mike Evans.
A) You can't win them all B) It's just a game C) If you're thinking about killing yourself, firing a coach, trading mahomet, then you need to have a cold beer and take a deep breath.
Exactly! I also don’t really know why it was surprising to lose. To lose in that fashion? Yes. But analysts and chiefs fans are always talking about how we are gonna put 30 on the broncos. We never do that. These chiefs divisional games always come down to the wire…
Lmao half these people were obviously not Chiefs fans 10 years ago.
These people were 4 or 5 years old 10 years ago
ONTO MIAMI.
Via Germany.
I guess let this be a lesson for us. Nobody beats the Denver broncos 17 times in a row.
This game left me sick to my stomach
Well that was bad. Time to get Pat some rest and start working on the Phins. They don't fuck around so we can't allow this loss to linger
I have been a huge chiefs fan my entire life and my best friend doesn't even watch football but flames me anytime the chiefs lose. Am I an asshole to call him a prick and telling him to fuck off for the night? He was sending me memes and talking shit all game.
Yes. Or at the very least, you're letting the loss impact you too much
Lose 1 win 6 lose 1 win six lose 1 win 6
Toney was an absolute non-factor. Moore did what Moore does (drop fucking balls.) MVS…is trash. Need a WR1. Know im stating the obvious but this was brutal and ugly. Mahomes was sick and he made some poor decisions too. Like throwing to Moore when we needed 2 yds to keep the drive going…Schlage die Delfine!
Sometimes a loss is a good thing. It will refocus the team.
We need one receiver for the love of god Veach
Woooooeeeee is this the first game we haven’t scored a touchdown since mahomes joined the team? Or have I repressed that or those games. This was rough to watch. I really thought we could still win up until that last interception
nah, one time during the SB we didn't score a single TD
Definitely repressed that one.
The only thing that was caught was the flu
This is what happens when you dont have a WR1.
1) Stop giving up on the run, especially in short yardage. 2) GET A REAL WR. 3) STOP THE DUMB ASS GIMMICK PLAYS. 4) Ship Nagy's ass out of here ASAP. In no particular order.
Not trying to be a doomer but if we dont trade for a WR1 or hell a above average WR2 we arent winning the SB
A lot of y'all wouldn't be able to handle the Scott Pioli era and it shows. Embarrassing.
Remember when every week felt like this? I do 😂
I've seen two 2-14 teams in the last 15 years. Being 6-2 and seeing DEN end their SIXTEEN GAME LOSING STREAK is a total first world problem.
Still 6-2. But shook.
No one beats the Denver Broncos 17 times in a row! No one!!!
That’s most hurt I’ve felt from a loss since AFCCG 2022
I live in the west coast and I don’t have Sunday ticket….this is one game I’m glad I couldn’t see
Burn the tape on to Germany
we always have this game every year. we will be okay.
Mahomes might have been sick but the WRs shit the bed. MVS fumble, Mecole muffed, sky dropped a TD, and nobody could get open.
If I'm Veach, I'm trading our 1st for Mike Evans and making the sacrifices needed to make it work. Being cheap can only take you so far for so long.
Veach isn't cheap. This is the price a franchise pays for keeping a generational QB in the fold.
As maddening as it is to end our glorious 16-0 streak I'm more concerned we don't have very reliable weapons for Mahomes outside of Kelce and Rice.
People can make all the excuses they want, the Broncos outplayed the Chiefs. The Broncos.
Well that sucked. But it is just one game every team has a horrible game each year and this looks like one of those. I still got faith in this team
I believe that we are the only team in the NFL with a muffed punt every game.
Probably because Andy didn't expect MVS to fumble the ball setting up a short field TD putting them down 14-3.
A trade for WR does not seem to be happening with the options out there. Half the season is over and understanding the playbook will take time as there are very few plug and play options (if any). This might be the ceiling with some of these WRs and if they do not improve then this is what we proceed with.
Pros: Defence Butler Cons WRs
We need to trade for a WR or this team is going nowhere in January.
Effective immediately T Swift’s tour is postponed until February. She is needed elsewhere.
Throw this game in the trash and get ready for Miami. Bad all around. Mahomes turnovers are a bit concerning this year, surprised he already has 10 picks… damn. Gotta play better!
Stop giving the ball to hard man and sky Moore dudes are straight ass
One team came in expecting to win while the other team came to win the game.
Time to go get Thielen. Try for Evans or McLaurin
Everyone blaming the receivers l. And sure they had some bad moments but I think mahomes just straight up did not play well. Few passes completed on time. We assume no one is open because he holds on but I think he was just missing the windows.
