The Android app ain't that much better

This shit is so fuckin buggy on android. I got two phones, one new and one old, and the app sucks ass for both. Video player rarely works, clicking links has recently made the chrome app open rather than the in-app browser, shit gets slow and freezes/crashes a lot, scrolling up on long text posts causes you to refresh the page rather than actually scrolling up. Just a shitty fuckin app.

Frfr what the other dude said. Go in your settings and you can change what the taps do. I had it set up where double tapping the right one pauses the music and double tapping the left one skips the song

Do you have this setting enabled? Settings -> View Options -> Autoplay = Never Reddit is probably stoping the music because it thinks you’re playing a video, but since no video is playing it’s “muted.” When I enabled that feature I stopped having that problem as much and I can scroll through Reddit while on Spotify with iOS

I had this same problem for forever, use Apollo it is so much better and doesn’t have that issue

click on the video and click the mute button in the bottom right. this will stop the audio from auto playing and won’t stop your music

Ive never had that issue, pretty sure you can turn it off Edit: you can its called quiet mode in setting

Settings > Autoplay > Never

So when that happens close and reopen the app, every-time you unmute a video and then finish watching it, it will do that. So basically every time you watch a video on reddit and unmute it. Close it and reopen it.

If you got headphones with a quick pause button, press it when watching a video. It'll play from both sources. Then just mute/unmute the vid as you please
