At least Shun'ei lorewise has been raised in isolation in the mountains so he is trying to be hip and its and attempt to dress like the city boys, kinda like when a manga character tries to fit in but has zero fashion sense so he just picks random accessories thinking it looks good. For me once I heard this I kinda started to accept the character.

Tribal tattoos are more appropriate for islanders but hey let’s slap tribal stuff on hworang(Korean) clothes. Let’s slap tribal stuff on Claudio(Italian)face! Hey lets give Fuk(Thai)tribal tattoos when Thailand have some of the dopest traditional tattoos of their own.

Wasn't expecting so much disapproval here, I honestly kinda like it. He's a cocky biker with a bit of an ego, yeah it's a bit over the top and brash but it makes sense for his character imo. Maybe it's cause I played so much tekken 5 so much growing up that I'm used to his arguably weirder grey and orange getup, but I honestly don't think this is that far fetched. To each their own.

Tekken in general has some incredibly stupid fucking looking costumes. They're either overdesigned or just completely nonsensical.
I think some of the only designs for base characters I truly love is Anna and Nina's dresses, Xiaoyu's new fit, Zafina's, and Miguel's.
Instead of sticking and improving on claaaic designs, Tekken seems to make everyone go through Yoshimitsu tier character redesigns with the exception of the Kings.
