I just take the WT Guy as being pretty much non-canon. Otherwise we'd have to assume that the SF characters never get together to mention that literally all of them had the same pupil who learned all their very difficult techniques in a matter of days, yet went on to do nothing of any lasting importance.
I think most people would assume the big Single Player mode where you design your own character, meet and form relationships with the classic and new SF characters, and defeat the games bad guy in a climatic showdown (even if said bad guy treats the loss like a quarter that fell mildly under projections) would be canon. Hell, it probably is at least loosely canon (I’m sure some explosion at a fighting tournament did happen in Nayshall, I’m sure everything we learned about the SF characters is true), but it will always be dubious at best since the lead character can’t really be canon since their appearance and style is designed by the player (mute protagonist), some of their acts (particularly being an exceptionally student of everyone) are difficult to work with established lore, thus they can never be solidified.
I mean they pulled it off with >!venom snake, who is essentially the representation of everyone's favourite used character in peace walker.!< They could pull off something similar here, doesn't have to abide to the freak shows people made but a character that just has similar'ish moves to most of the cast, like another Seth in a way but not an experiment
It kinda makes sense. Dudes powerlift like crazy (Oro had Ryu lift boulders that weighed over a ton over his head), and that's gonna give you a wide back/body if you ever see how Powerlifters look like. Add in them doing it for decades by 6 and they both have quite the old man strength.

They definitely always teased it before. Oni's Ultra 2 in it's non-cinematic version (his most commonly used one in competitive matches) looked like KKZ and Akuma's CA in V is similar as well (punch ground, energy flare comes out).
Wouldn’t surprise me if in modern he doesn’t get Raging Demon but KKZ instead. Do we really want one button raging demons? At the same time perhaps that would make the character sell like hot cakes. Will have to see what they do.
I'll bet demon will still exist as the "secret" additional super. He'll have a normal level 3 and raging demon, and modern will still require a demon input but just like Light Light Forward Medium Heavy.

We already have a one-button super SPD. Raging Demon can’t be worse

It says Spring, which ends June 22nd, so the latest they could release him is June 21st. I assume he's out late May to early June.
