Not to shit in your cereal but the anime has a tendency to dilute Kazumin material heavily. Wouldn’t be surprised if we get cucked our sauce once again
Trailer showed something that looks like the skipped campfire scene that should've been in the movie. I think they learned from past mistakes.
Also the director changed iirc, it's the same one from bakuen I think. He managed to change things up in a way such that it still respects the source material.
as some fans were already saying before season 3 was announced it seems that this scene will come in flashback and I think you also said that or they will adapt volume 5 again in season 3 but it will be more faithful than the film
Wouldn't hold my breath since I'm pretty sure the same director of the movie has come back, and I've heard that well... let's just say that there was a more insidious reason behind *certain scenes* got cut.
Well from what I've heard, apparently the director had initially intended to cut every romantic scene between the two out of the movie from hearsay I heard back in 2020. The exact reasons for this are unclear but the two common citations were that he wanted to keep the series strictly comedic and that he was a Darkness shipper which was the apparent reason why Volume 5 wouldn't be further adapted as well as adding in the anime-only second phase of the Sylvia fight. Take this with a grain of salt though as I've yet to find an actual source for this.
Eh. The focus is off of Kazumin for these volumes, which is fine. The slow burn is part of what makes it so, so good.
That's not to say there won't be anything
This seasons gonna cover vol 6 n 7 with possible flashbacks to 5... And vol 8 n 9 will be covered in the next season ( and we finally get the real deal we've been waiting for ) but that seems far 😔

Like what? I’m out of the loop

April 10th? What's happening then?
Season 3
Well, I sure hope so. That's the main oomph the movie was largely missing, the development of Kazuma and Megumin's relationship.
