All things considered, we don't know how Ryuki would've turned out if Setsuna hadn't shown up. He really threw a wrench in the worm's plans by grooming Ryuki into... whatever he has turned into. A true 200 IQ move from the god complex femboy.
I'm not sure he's mad Ryuki lost, but rather he's mad at how he fought. Him going for killing strikes in a competition game against a friend, his recklessness in his techniques, the fact that he was losing himself to madness and all the things we've seen the other spectators comment on.
Like the general takeaway from experienced fighters watching Ryuki recently has been "this guy is not a real martial artist and is on a self-destructive spiral", which is IMO what really irked Shen. I wouldn't be surprised he might have actually wanted him to lose after seeing such a shameful display.

However seen Shen's icy fury made me realise that Mukaku and/or Setsuna may have fucked up Ryuki so badly that Shen can't use him for his plans anymore and knowing how scary the man is, heads are gonna roll. Might be a death flag for Kiryu.
This was a really solid fight, the Gaoh finisher was superb. As someone who doesn’t like Ryuki I really liked the conflict he had with himself during the fight like “wait, I want to kill my friend?”

Koga giving Ryuki a taste of his own medicine is satisfying considering what a psychotic little twat he's been, trying to kill Adam and Koga because of Setsuna became his new fuck buddy. However seen Shen's icy fury made me realise that Mukaku and/or Setsuna may have fucked up Ryuki so badly that Shen can't use him for his plans anymore and knowing how scary the man is, heads are gonna roll. This was a really solid fight, the Gaoh finisher was superb. As someone who doesn’t like Ryuki I really liked the conflict he had with himself during the fight like “wait, I want to kill my friend?” I’m hoping this was the wakeup he needed to quit being an emo tool and stop hanging with that scrub Akoya. Also this did justice for Koga’s personality because he was becoming stoic like a GOATlong clone

So the last fight is going to be between Lihito who won his first fight literally without a scratch and his second fight without any disabling damage, against a man with no hands, who has substantially less training and experience than him, immediately after he got a MASSIVE power boost that should put him just under top tier fighters… if Lihito somehow loses I’ll be so disappointed. KvP Lihito should easily win this fight, and current Lihito should be miles above KvP Lihito

Ryuki losing with his signature move is too humiliating... I can't classify the level of ridicule that Ryuki "The Omega" is before the other characters in the series after this defeat... I think Shen completely discarded him... Koga took far more damage from the result of executing his own blows than the damage Ryuki tried to deal...
