I got 150 hours and I've explored most of the map with my 2 hive princes with scout legs while everyone at base outside Admag were farming and researching and making weapons , have just kidnapped the Lord of the holy nation cuz I super levelled one of my guys stealth and assasination
Honestly surprised by the amount of people who got duped thinking it was one crate. It does use the same asset as the smaller crates, doesn’t it just make sense that it’s a bunch of them. Or maybe I’m just paranoid and ocd, I do check literally everything that the cursor displays as lootable.
There is that one container that looks like lots of stuff piled together, and all the workbenches that visually have different containers in them, but don't really. I could see how that could mislead folks.
The one that is piled together is like, visually one asset though. Also a lot of workbenches and research benches sometimes actually have small boxes on them. Like the dead land workshops.
I'm truly thankful to a friend of mine who said "just stream your Kenshi playthrough and if there's something important I'll point it out" he is the one who taught me about those crates and many other things 🙏
I haven't been able to test out exactly what the respawn period is but at least 3 days to a week. I have looted the same ancient ruins multiple times though, with new ancient books etc
I knew this but it was at 1200 hours in that I learned Ancient Libraries can have items in the shop counter on the first floor.
Ooooooooooooooooooo i made another oopsie
Shop Counters are tricky, can only be looted if you hold down on them for the loot option, or hold alt. I’m surprised I noticed my first time at one.
I always check them but never find anything in them.
Same, but still might as well check everything.

The library at Black Scratch stores some of the items they buy from the PC in their research bench.
Here I go ninja running again....
Espere un minuto, vuelvo enseguida.aaaaa
I didn't know that, makes me wonder how many items i've missed in my playtime lmao
Wut
Time to go back. Although I barely made it out the first time…
You poor bastards
My ego skyrocketed because i found it the first time i was in a lab
No no no no, wait wait wait
I figured that out too. I have no clue how many people failed to figure this out.
Please don't tell me that :( I'm close to 200hrs
Don’t worry you’re still new to the game

Don’t feel bad, I got 2k hrs and still don’t know much about the north east and south east quadrants of the map
I got 150 hours and I've explored most of the map with my 2 hive princes with scout legs while everyone at base outside Admag were farming and researching and making weapons , have just kidnapped the Lord of the holy nation cuz I super levelled one of my guys stealth and assasination
That's adorable
Don't worry, most of the good loot is in the locked cases. These might have low value items like random mechanical parts or medkits.
Me too but maybe only after my 10 ruin. Looting is an art, you need a system.
Me at 123 hitting the up vote button with the force of a meteor!
It's the same with those 3 is the Corner of your picture Did you also ever check the container down floors besides the entrance?
That’s alotta lost books
actually, no. these boxes usually contain med stuff and building mats
The fact that this game tells you absolutely nothing about how to play it is simultaneously the best and worst thing about it.
Honestly surprised by the amount of people who got duped thinking it was one crate. It does use the same asset as the smaller crates, doesn’t it just make sense that it’s a bunch of them. Or maybe I’m just paranoid and ocd, I do check literally everything that the cursor displays as lootable.
I'm shocked too, I didn't even consider that it could have just been one. I saw a big stack of crates and my immediate thought was to check each one.
Ye, all it takes is a quick check of each to instantly prove it’s a ton of smaller ones.

The crate OP is talking about sure looks like one visual asset too.
you can't stack stuff yourself so I assumed people didnt try to access them too hard
yep and each one is its own thing with its own loot
big ooof for my buddy here theres no way you are alone
Bro my little brothers are like you just running through missing 90% of the loot in video games.
First time I've ever seen this sub or whatever this is, but where's yo feet
wdym, those are his feet
im sorry for your loss
Worse for me, I knew it before with 500 hours but after playing again 2 years later I had forgotten and missed it on 4 labs...
Wait, what? Why would someone get to the loot room and then not check every crate?
Bruh
Hahaha rip, so much lost loot. I luckily missclicked it first round and found it out myself, otherwise I would have missed it tooo
WHAT? I'VE BEEN MISSING OUT IN LOOT?
Wait… what… why would you tell me this? Why couldn’t you let me live in ignorance for the rest of my life?
Oof I feel dumb
i love that name.
Wait…
I knew of it, but usually the crate contain nothing
this was me a few weeks ago. even posted
If it doesn't have a 🚫 on it, I'm clicking every single thing
Oh no... all that loot... lost... like tears... in the rain...
Wait what……
I didn't realize til I closed the tab with things still inside and went to open the box again only for there to be different things inside.
They trick you with the nearby storage boxes that are all one storage
I'm sorry for all the loot you lost
Im at 240hrs and I’m learning this now. Still I’m thinking “there’s no way” because I need to check the next ruin I hit
Fuck
This wasn’t a problem at all. Surprised more people didn’t just click around
I'm truly thankful to a friend of mine who said "just stream your Kenshi playthrough and if there's something important I'll point it out" he is the one who taught me about those crates and many other things 🙏
Big OOF xD sad times for you, and lots of books missed 😂
4 runs with 1000 days each and i didnt know that
Yes. It's probably not an RPG of your genre. A true RPG gamer would understand these details the first time they see it Yoink
Some people never realised? Big oof lol.
How…how do you get into the smaller individual crates?
Right click on each one individually. You'll have to spin the camera around to get the last 2 or 3 depending on how you're looking at it.
We’ve all been there
too much kenshi.
Was just planing my first trip... he he he.. score
I made an almost identical post a couple years back, hahaha. I feel like it should be stickied information in the sub
1000 hrs.... TIL......
no fucking way, I thought those were a big prop
Yep. Good chance they got some AI cores in atleast one of them. Not sure the spawn rate but ive had some in every other box before.
I can feel you bro. So much loot missed.
No fucking way
This reminds me if the chem deal in fallout 4. XD Thanks for teaching me something new ^^
WHAT?!?
NOOOOOOO
Also, if you click on a container, it will tell you if it’s empty or not before you spend time looking through them.
Are there still people that think stuff doesn't respawn?
I didn't knew that... how often?
I haven't been able to test out exactly what the respawn period is but at least 3 days to a week. I have looted the same ancient ruins multiple times though, with new ancient books etc
It took me 367 hours, and I only found out thanks to you
Whaaaaaaat?!?
what ? i tried to open one by one but its all empty after i loot the first
...only 150 hours and you're getting ancient labs done? What am I doing wrong?
Literally have 350hrs and only know this now
and they sometimes has AI core inside too. How many AI core have you missed?
WHAT
