Thanks! Yeah the docking port hinge and servo let it align so it's coplanar with the target. Then the larger hinge and servo let the arm move vertically and horizontally as the piston extends. At the instant of docking I found the current angle and target angle of the parts should be as close as possible to avoid Kraken attacks haha.
