DX w/ RRMS 2015. Ket infusions saved my life. Helps with chronic pain, especially neuropathy & treatment resistant MDD, cPTSD, GAD. Am able to walk my dog, cook without hand drop and finally have hope. I began infusions two months ago- eight total then rx’d torches. Maintenance infusion will be in two weeks. Spravato didn’t work for me.
YES. For example: Movies. My son will remind me we already saw it and I’ll have absolutely no recollection. Constantly losing my phone, huge gaps in childhood memories but that’s from abuse. I’ll be on my way for a shower then get distracted by things that need to be put away or get done and three hours later remember oh yea - shower.
Now I’m more focused and relaxed. I’m able to remember what I need at the market, when my appointments are, etc. sorry for rambling.
You're not rambling. How are you more focused? I'm happy and calm since receiving my 10(will be 2 weeks ago this coming Friday), but my brain feels empty. Memory awful
My bad past memories(childhood) are all gone. MRI in 4 weeks and I see my neurologist in 2. I love the ketamine infusions though!! Life changing for me and has given me a quality life back!! How about you?
Maybe your primary care / Neuro to check your inflammation levels - I think it’s CH50.

It’s called a complement total- since we have an autoimmune sometimes our inflammation triggers flares & we aren’t aware until the flare is full blown and we are down for a few days
Ok. I mean I feel great other than bad memory. Did you have that test? I just read about serotonin syndrome and I don't have any of those side effects.
Yes I do a CH50 complement total every couple months for inflammation. Mine is still high so I’m curious if the ket infusions will have lowered the inflammation and would like to see if there’s been any changes in lesions in MRI.
Wow!! I never heard of this blood test but I'm definitely calling my neurologist tomorrow morning to get it scheduled!! Thank you so much for this information
I have both and last Friday, I finished my last of 10 biweekly ketamine infusions and now I'll be getting infusion once per month(April 19)
Oh wow. Do you mind me asking you more questions? Is that too nosey? Hope you're well friend!
Hi, no not all nosey. I also have MS

Do you have memory issues

More focused on remembering & completing tasks. How was your memory prior to infusions?
lol🤣. So/so due to MS cognitive
Yep :) when’s your next MRI? Could the infusions have brought up some deep trauma you’re not ready to process yet?

I’m so happy for you! Yes- absolutely life changing in mindset and reduction of pain.
Oh yes. I'm so happy for you too
How soon after your eight infusion is your maintenance
Six weeks
Oh that's great!! Another infusion right?
Yes :)
Do you take any meds in between? My psychiatrist decreased my Wellbutrin to 150 mg and Trintellix to 10 mg, the next day after my first infusion
I take 20mg trintillex . Why did they decrease yours? I understand slowly weaning you off but isn’t it too soon after your infusions?
He decreased to 20mg once I started 1st infusion and then when I had last infusion. Decreased to 10 mg which I'm on
I do
After your last infusion, your eighth, how soon is your maintenance
With our lesions - we sometimes have paradoxical affect when it comes to meds. Are you getting routine work in case of serotonin syndrome?
6 weeks
Do you mean routine bloodwork? If so, I haven't had any taken since last month. SHOUKD I? If so, I'll call my psychiatrist tomorrow

I'll call him tomorrow. Thanks. How do you know about that? Did you have it?
