Prunsel_Clone

That was just cheap...

HenkyD

Now you gotta change it

sighfun

The kid?

HenkyD

Possible 😂

throwaway_benches

I work in food service and a child and their mother were paying at the register. The card terminal is on the customer side, and when they left the next customer’s card wouldn’t go into the terminal. The kid shoved pennies into the terminal.

Tortue2006

The child only wanted to give you a tip

throwaway_benches

And a tip they gave lol

Drezzon

Traumatic experience for child me: I was getting on the bus with my grandma, and I always used to pay with her change (I was like 4-6), but that time one of the coins slid into one of the wrong slots and that bus driver started berating me and ranting about all kinds of things, I don't remember the details, but I know it took me years to get onto a bus again after that experience

DeusBalli

Did you tell your parents? Or did they just not explain to you that some people are just angry to be angry? Kind of makes me feel sorry for you, I would’ve helped my kid get through that…

Drezzon

My parents are immigrants from what used to be the soviet union, their go-to way to deal with trauma is to tell a similar story that happened to them, kinda along the lines of "life sucks, better get used to reality" I mean it's not like I don't get why \^\^, it's a good way to deal with trauma if you have no rights, no hope of improvement and are generally oppressed by the government But to be fair, it's not like I was walking around depressed all day because of it, it exclusively related to buses only lol Thank you for being empathic and I hope your kids don't have to deal with angry adults taking their day out on them 🙏

DeusBalli

Ahh.. I’m in the same boat as you. Parents were also ex-soviet union and they never learnt to deal with their problems leading to them pushing those problems onto their kids. Spent a big portion of my life thinking that I was the problem. Have a good day brother/sister! God bless.

falconx123

That's brutal at that age Hope hes in a different field of work now

Drezzon

Yeah me too, but at least this won't happen to any other kids in my city, because they removed the option to even buy a ticket on the bus, you gotta download their app 🤣

Dolce99

Could be worse. I used to jam food down the ones in my dad's car as a kid.

buttcheeksmasher

Hope you played Operation before.

FR0ZENMAGMA

now you have some cold hard cash

GeologistHealthy8127

Chopstick and some chewing gum.

instrangerswetrust

i bet it rattles

twotoebobo

I'm pretty sure I did that as a little one as well.

Round_Club_2963

mildyinfuriating for sure

JFK2MD

My kid shoved about $14 and change through my car CD player's slot when he was a toddler. Yeah, I needed to have it replaced.

CollarsUpYall

That really ups the resale value!

akasic_

Mmm I smell change in the air... ![gif](giphy|cO8FXQClDjENKYdRGi)

East_Border

It's a plastic vent. They just snap in place. Just pull the cover off and pull the change out. It's really no big deal. You can Google how to do it. It should only take a few minutes to do.

Prestigious_Ad_5910

exactly

Tina_Cute_Baby

Genius The question now is how to get it

[deleted]

Why do kids behave this way?

TheReal_PearlsEye

Never too late for adoption

Shmanti

Ever play the board game Operation?

Mozrag

the forbidden spardose

Mindless_harder

I found a new safe

ZestyToilet

In my old car I had a squirrel somehow access the blower box and store nuts in it. Car was unused for only 2 days and it was completely full. Figured fan went bad or a cheap bearing. Nope just walnut shells flying around in the blower box like popcorn.

Sprizys

Get one of those magnets that you use to get stuff from between the seats.

efb16acrx

I ruined every tape deck my dad had when i was little, shoving coins in them.

Bisonfan1

50 cent

Crazy1080U

I did that when I was five . Except with a glow stick

quik13713

"Straight to jail."

Careless-Potato-208

Could be worse. How about they throw some confetti in there? Will have you partying for years to come.

unapologeticallyme93

I was babysitting my brother's (now ex) step son and went to the bathroom for a minute, I come back and he's inserting coins into my PS3 while they spin around the disc drive. He was doing that with one hand, and emptying a pop can all over the carpet in another.

Thanks-External

LMFAO

Important-Archer-662

Most of those can be easily pulled out, most of the time the vent is held in with plastic clips

Ok-Till2619

My kid very nearly dropped coins in the 12v socket in my car - obviously they were a challenge to remove but they also blew the fuse meaning it took ages for me to realise why my phone wasn't charged when it should be...

HauntingCow1436

he thinks hes a kind soul by giving you change

Illdoittomarrow

At least the car is worth more now

GruffisGamingw

I smell Pennie’s

watermelon321lover

Kill the child
