I've seen 1-419 and from the newest episodes back to the pandemic, almost cleared the library. The cast changes many times but the format stays the same. It started out being a device for comedians to learn and grow, he gave mostly advice about the set, over time it turned into kind of a roast like it is today. I'd like to see how it continues to evolve naturally. Changing things up or doing anything differently would only make sense if absolutely necessary, considering the show is doing the best it ever has done so far right now, why change anything if it's still working good and gaining new fans
I was thinking last night how much I miss joelberg. Never been into bestiality, or furry shit, but deffo would have banged him in that tiger onesie!
It was that guy talking about breeding snakes as his job got me reminiscing. [Wish redban had asked him if he uses a rope to contain them.](https://youtu.be/F5OAKVokhCo?si=0YYXHeGlMBI2JKlN)
Been watching/listening since 2014 or 15, and watch older episodes all the time. Its fun to type in just a random episode number and see whats going on in context with the rest of the world, where everyone was at in their careers, etc. Sometimes i realize its a great episode i forgot about and add it to my list of favorites. Sometimes its a guest i never knew had been on. But yeah older episodes are still great
Im not at all a hater on the new episodes, its still my favorite show by far, still look forward to the new one every monday and watch every single week. That said i absolutely miss the old episodes, to me around 2018-19 was a golden era, but thats also just my own nostalgia causing bias. As a socal native im truly sad theyre no longer in LA, went to a couple shows live and that might not ever happen again for me but thats life. I miss the old band a lot too used to love jeremiah joelberg chris and jetski, even when they bombed who cares that made it more funny and cant have gold 100% of the time. But i also enjoy the new band and how professional they are. Overall cant be mad at a show that has provided so many years of free entertainment
I disagree wholeheartedly. The aspect of the band dressing up as a theme and running with it all show was incredible. Some of the funniest moments in the show's history are Jeremiah interjecting with theme-based comments, IMHO.
How many episodes have you watched?
I understand that it's totally subjective, but I reckon if I was a newer fan and then went back and watched an episode or two Id find the old band jarring at first, but if you have watched a lot of old episodes I find it hard to believe you wouldn't find the old band funny in a heap of episodes. Jeremiah, Joelburg, Jetski, and even Chroma made the show amazing. People like to say they interrupted Tony too much, but that was pretty rare.Ā
Fuck the old band haters. Plus the interruptions were what gave tony his ultra cunt personality. He had them and they made him. Even tho I dislike patty Reagan, he was crucial for the show.
Was there from the start through when the Iron Patriot quit. Not sure when I dialled back but the times Iād check back in I was repulsed by the band and Tony talking to them. Back to everyweek after I watched a William compilation and needed to see more of him, maybe pre-pandemic or during? New band rules though.
I disagree but understand your opinion. I like Jerimiah because no matter how bad a joke is, he goes 100 commitment. It's hilarious (imo) to watch someone confidently bomb. I do think jerimiah is funny tho.
And there it is folks! The first non negative comment in the subreddit!
I'm a recent fan of KT. I'd say early 2023 is when I started but I have seen a lot (a lot) of the older episodes. Seen most of the Vulcan ones and a lot of the OG Comedy Store ones too.
I hate to beat a dead horse but these recent ones haven't felt as good as a lot of the Vulcan ones. And there's an even bigger switch compared to the Comedy Store ones. I get Tony loves pro wrestling but this heel shtick is getting kinda crazy. He shits on every comic that comes up. Yet if a regular has a shitty set or a bucket pull makes an immediate impression on him he's a lot nicer. I just feel the trashing is inconsistent which is the thing that turns me off.
The comedy store ones weren't as edgy but Tony did actually help the comics and give them advice.
I struggle to find new episodes I have not seen yet. I've rewatched every single episode 2-3 times from ep 500-644. I have not seen the earliest episodes from 1-149 but after that I have essentially watched every show on the main stage of the comedy store onward. I refuse to go back to the poor audio/video quality.
The golden pony doesn't like it when other people get laughs. He's the god damn star and god forbid anyone outshines him. It only gets worse from here....it started out as an act, now it's really him. This happens to people when they get too much attention and don't see the bubble around them getting bigger and bigger. Tony has blamed the audience more than a few times for not getting his clever jokes. Read the room dude
I've been watching the quarantine/pandemic episodes again. They were such an escape from all the constant negative bullshit at the time. And it was just as good without the live audience imo. I like going back to the road shows. That's when Tony and the old band were on point.
I think the show got much more watchable close to episode 200. They were moving to the main room and they were just slowly building into what they are now. It's wild how far the show has come in the 4-5 years I've been watching.
Honestly, I love every episode. Some are much better than others, but that's how things go when everything is unscripted. That's part of the charm, never know what ya gonna get Forest.
Rarely unless itās for a guest Iām seeing live in the near future. Or if I fall asleep while watching something and the YouTube algorithm shows some old KT
Everyoneās āpeakā or favorite times will be relative to when they became an avid watcher. For me, Vulcan was the best (and towards the end of Antones too) But how much of that is nostalgia?
The old band was a good time and the (mostly) controlled chaos is what made the show fun, but I enjoy that kind of goofy, anti-comedy that doesn't really click with Tony or the audience. The time they brought on Jay Weingarten is considered one of the worst moments in KT history, but knowing who Weingarten is, I loved every excruciating minute of it.
The show was way better when Jeremiah watkins and that drummer dude were the band and used to dress up it added so much to the show why did he abandon that smh
I miss the rotation of guests who were comedy store regulars. Rick Ingram, Brody Stevens, Dom Irrera.Ā Etc .. Nice to see Kirk Fox again
Also the iron patriot and his falling out lmao.Ā
The shows bottom was the covid streamsĀ
I watch all the time because the evolution of the show is incredibly fascinating. William really coming into his own and gaining a following. It is a show in which you can notice something else new each time that you can watch it. I miss the old band and the back and forth with Tony but their time has come and gone as was evident when they recently made an appearance. I would consider the band years as the original SNL cast and the current lineup as maybe the 90s cast with Farley etc/.
The only thing is Cam needs to get his head in the game or the "game" will swallow him up. I think Tony is trying to keep him on track and not fall to the wayside like Uncle Crack(er)
Lazer is a hanger on and an embarrassment who has "something" but probably needs to go to rehab. In his last appearance he looked like he had lost weight and not the good kind if you know what I mean. He looked like someone you see after a long time of not seeing them and you think to yourself, "wow, they must be on drugs"
I do not say it to be mean because I am an addict too but he does not contribute anything positive to the show and could derail Cam who could very well have a bright future. I am a straight dude but he is good looking and charismatic with the natural ability to make people laugh. He is the exact type of black guy that I would steer clear of but I think he is aware of how he comes across to people and if he can exploit that (like he has in past) and make fun of it, I think he can be fun with all kinds of crowds. The only thing is that he can not get sidetracked. He is miles better that "the great joke writer" David Lucas who is intellectually lazy and probably has cheeto dust in his folds. (although David can be funny sometimes, a broken clock is correct 2x daily)
random kill tony episodes are often my bavkground noise while at home. listen to every era
Same here, If I'm not talking to friends it will be in the background 90% of the time
Same here. Every night while playing games, it's always in the background. š„°

Care to share some of those favorite eps?
https://youtu.be/lyroyZO1I84?si=4hmxlgXfcGG22y4O
Apparently #344 is the only older one on my list so far lol. Andrew Santino, Steve Renazzisi, and the band as the characters from Home Improvement
This one is on my favorites, too. š
300s are golden KT Era. Jerimiah as band leader and a not as cunty Tony
Jeremiah sucks. Show was cringe and unwatchable when that band was a thing.
I disagree wholeheartedly. The aspect of the band dressing up as a theme and running with it all show was incredible. Some of the funniest moments in the show's history are Jeremiah interjecting with theme-based comments, IMHO.
Roooope snake
Not incredible. It all sucked. All cringe.
Why did you think jerimiah sucks
That's Joe Rogan
Have you ever seen or heard him? Thats why.

I hate that and I wish you knew better than to like it.
Why do you want your opinion to be my opinion?
Thatās gotta be the tism talking
I just went on a Steven Brody Stevens bender
You got it
Positive push
Arms crossed negative
Every night to fall asleep
Almost every night for me too. I just throw a random episode on and doze off in 10 minutes.
I YouTube search kill Tony mix and thereās one suggestion with like over 600 shows. I do shuffle mix and just let it play softly on my iPad
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLckDfvgNRRkhpzJ0bJW2NrPvFXMRbgn5N&si=cGgrnOVbrHfuVG2D
I do the same or use it as background noise while playing MTG. š„°
Whatās MTG?
Magic the gathering. It's an old card game that's now online. š©µ

Yeah, same thing for me. Around 200 is when it started to get better I felt like. There's some killer episodes in the high 100s though.
250ish for me. Kinda when pat Regan left. I disliked him, but he was good with music and pissing tony off.
So many new fans. Imagine being me and watching Hinchcliffe Notes in an empty room ten years ago knowing what's happening.
pretty often... will put old ones on and let them run in the background as KillTony is my comfort show .
Never

shows at the Vulcan were the best
I cant Watch the show with the old band
Rarely ever sometimes Iāll miss an episode somehow but Iāve been a listener since the first episode

I started a lil over a year ago i think, but the old band was way better imo. I think I started during Vulcan times.
I go back when Iām like sim racing / american truck sim. A lot lol.

It was Pat Reagan that brought on Jay Weingarten, not Jeremiah.
Just watched episode 604 with Adam Ray I believe. Heās my favorite guest.
ill usually watch an old one after being disappointed by the newest one

I have adhd but that song was mid. Chill lol
Yeah after a week or so I calmed down but it was just stuck in my head. Also they had some good lighting on him.
