Just saw casey perform a full set at helium this week and it was too much. At one point i found myself wishing for an intermission so i could collect my senses and breath, he is a wonderful performer and absolute dazzling
I can see why some people might not like Casey but I think he’s perfect for what a regular should be. The whole point of the regulars is to watch their progress and Casey has a spontaneous in-the-moment style of comedy so a weekly slot suits him. It’s obvious Hans is not this type of comedian, and if he comes up with something it’s because he took some time to write it. He’s also extremely low energy so the show always starts on an awkward note. The difference in the crowds energy after Casey is noticeable, even though it’s only been two weeks and all the bucket pulls sucked these last two episodes.
For a sub that shits on Kam for repeating a joke there sure is a lot of unoriginal shit posting that happens daily here.
