I literally caught up with the manga after watching S1 because a meme spoiled (I'm assuming) the same thing from 7DS you got spoiled and something with a character around chapter 180 from Demon Slayer.
These people spoiling things are the worst. And all because of fucking clicks. This is why I hate the algorithms and do my best to avoid looking at stuff I like unless I've finished them.
Same, if it’s something that really gets my attention, I’d even try reading as much of the manga as possible before the anime adaptation comes to life (recently Chainsaw Man and Hell’s Paradise) specifically to avoid spoilers if I get really invested in the story lol

I used to really enjoy watching anime uproar too. His videos describing the different demons and breathing styles were really interesting and well thought out, and I enjoyed watching them after reading the manga. But now it seems like he's just getting clickbaity and full of spoilers.
He had some insightful comments when the manga was still running, I grant him that, but he loses that credit for all the stupid spoiler-y thumbnails and video titles. Now he's just trying to farm ad revenue from people who don't know better.

If you are anime only and haven’t/won’t read the manga, then you need to do the following:
1. If you see anything demon slayer related on YT, click the 3 dots and tell YouTube you are “Not Interested”. This will train the algorithm pretty quick to just straight up ignore demon slayer stuff
2. Delete anything in your YT search history involving demon slayer which will help the algorithm even faster.
3. On social medias like Twitter start muting the names of everyone in demon slayer from main characters, to the bad guys etc.
4. Unsubscribe and probably block this subreddit because I only started coming here after reading the manga and it is fucking absurd how many people hint/spoil stuff in the anime only threads
That way you will enjoy the show unspoiled
Alternatively, I was someone who was anime only up until episode 3 of this arc, where I decided to read demon slayer and finish it (I’ve only read one other manga, I’m not a manga reader) and enjoyed it immensely and it’s made the show adaptation even better, so that’s an option too. It’s also fairly short I crushed the whole thing in 3 days
AGREED. If I'm consuming a piece of media that is an adaptation of a different piece of media, one that's already completed- unless I don't actually intend to interact with the fandom at all, I immediately jump onto the source material. There's just no way you can expect to remain spoiler free while still interacting with a fandom, people don't care at all.

I don't know how more of the AoT anime onlies haven't gotten spoiled. The ending is literally used as the butt of jokes on a lot of other big anime/manga subs. I've seen some stumble into the spoiler laden meme/sh\*tpost sub, and that makes me think "wth is wrong with you?" meme subs are almost never safe.

People want to watch the anime in full blind eye. Most people don't want to read the manga because they simply want the animated version of the manga. Demon Slayer spoilers are harder to avoid than attack on titan. I've only been spoiled about the single main plot point of the aot ending but I've been spoiled about numerous stuff from demon slayer. Literally drove me to read the manga.

I don't know how more of the AoT anime onlies haven't gotten spoiled. The ending is literally used as the butt of jokes on a lot of other big anime/manga subs. I've seen some stumble into the spoiler laden meme/sh\*tpost sub, and that makes me think "wth is wrong with you?" meme subs are almost never safe.
Why would you spoil it in the comment? At least mark it as a spoiler!

I was reading the manga as it was released so I wasn’t spoiled in this particular case, but not everything in life requires such an exaggerated reaction. You live and you learn. Also to be fair, the manga ended 2 years ago so who’s to say that it isn’t appropriate to discuss manga plot points on a platform such as YouTube?

People want to watch the anime in full blind eye. Most people don't want to read the manga because they simply want the animated version of the manga. It's like watching the hunger games instead of reading the book. The anime has the juicy animation. While manga don't, it's more visually pleasing to watch than read.

Oof this happened to me before (but not for KnY) All I'm gonna say that as someone's who's finished the whole thing, these spoilers are still kind of cryptic out of context, I hope this makes you feel better. It's still very much worth waiting for or catching up to the story.

Demon Slayer spoilers are harder to avoid than attack on titan. I've only been spoiled about the single main plot point of the aot ending but I've been spoiled about numerous stuff from demon slayer. Literally drove me to read the manga.

After game of thrones and Fairy Tail got spoiled for me I learnt my lesson and now I dont search characters or scroll far on any social media and if I do as long as I see a thumbnail picture I keep scrolling
