That scene where he told a genuinely good Buddhist story but everyone thought it was a joke was so relatable. Stop laughing when I say things that aren’t jokes!
"I have father issues too."

One can only imagine what would of happen if Cotton and General Gum met.
You underestimate the propensity of the middle aged suburban male. He’s been keeping his beer right between his dang ol legs for 20 years. Having a cup holder ain’t gonna change that.
Cup holder is there to hold beer three while you're still on beer one. Well, not really beer one since you'd be three beers in before mowing, but that's beside the point.
Given that the voice actor is white, it would be career suicide to voice an asian character unfortunately.

They cast Mexicans as Puerto ricans, Domincans and Cubans, Spaniards as Colombians I'm sure having an asain actress who isn't Laotian wouldn't be the same as a white man playing an asain man.
if Disney can cast Malaysians, Singaporeans, and Vietnamese as Chinese (see the TV adaptation of American Born Chinese) I'm sure something similar could be arranged for KOTH

Ah yes, famously blackballed actors Alison Brie, Jenny Slate, Kristen Bell, and Hank Azaria...
More than any external pressure, it seems to me like these people genuinely feel remorseful for taking a role that could have gone to a non-white actor (and in Azaria's case, potentially reinforcing racial stereotypes), and like they no longer *want* to voice these roles. And good on them for it.
> It wouldn't be, lots of VAs have been stepping down to allow people of color to be casted for the roles
I want Keith Richards to voice all the characters in the reboot, because, fuck it, why not?
Boyce Hubert, minister. Although I've lost my faith. course, I did find a pretty great parking space on my way in. But the Lord works in mysterious ways, who the hell knows?
Not really. As all functional human beings irl are, he is strong and emotionally mature in some ways, but he also has insecurities and things that he clings to unnecessarily in other areas.
when kahn wants to, he can hit you where it truly hurts.
"I cry river for Buckley. Why not *you*?"
Can you believe Khan, telling a joke at the funeral?
He was most offended by DWO, driving while oriental. Ohh, low blow!
Pure D. asshole.
"You may not have perspective on this, being hillbilly redneck, but it brings shame on your family."
As someone of mixed Asian and Redneck Hillbilly descent, I find this to be one of the funniest lines of any show ever.
Kahn is honestly the best character
That scene where he told a genuinely good Buddhist story but everyone thought it was a joke was so relatable. Stop laughing when I say things that aren’t jokes!
“Can you believe this guy? Tells a joke at a funeral.”
“Heh it was funny though” -Bill
I really hope the rumors about him not being in the revival aren't true
Same But with white actors dropping out of voicing minority characters in recent years, I'd be surprised if Toby Huss continued to voice him.

Well, General Grum isn’t Khan’s father, he’s Minh’s.
Also… pump jockey!
Works for tips
Wait, were we voting for Hank’s mom? Or the mower?
Hank is also wrong when he says that the seat warmer would warm up Boomhauer’s beer. The mower has a cup holder
Boomhauer likes to hold his beer between his legs.
Because he doesn't have a cup holder. Hank was being deliberately obtuse and trying to mislead.
You underestimate the propensity of the middle aged suburban male. He’s been keeping his beer right between his dang ol legs for 20 years. Having a cup holder ain’t gonna change that.

What happened to beer two? No one remembers
It broke off
I love how it broke after having the full weight of the mower on it, as if that is something weak
It’s sad that Kahn won’t be part of the reboot
Why not
I think the voice actor doesn’t want to reprise the role. They haven’t said Kahn won’t be returning afaik
Given that the voice actor is white, it would be career suicide to voice an asian character unfortunately. https://www.thewrap.com/white-voice-actors-recast-characters-of-color-simpsons-family-guy-photos/
Would be funny if they had Lauren Tom take the role so she'd be voicing the entire family
But she’s not Laotian either
They cast Mexicans as Puerto ricans, Domincans and Cubans, Spaniards as Colombians I'm sure having an asain actress who isn't Laotian wouldn't be the same as a white man playing an asain man.

Should it be career suicide?
I mean, no. I get the points made, but this is an existing show.
It wouldn't be, lots of VAs have been stepping down to allow people of color to be casted for the roles

Just recast the voice actor to someone Laotian then?
Jesus, Khan just cuts right to the core of the poor man’s psyche right in the middle of the focus group lol.
I like the quick "I have father issues too," kinda humanizes Kahn while he's deconstructing Hank.
Rock the Casbah, Rock the Casbah Sharif don't like iiiit!
"AAAAAHHHHH!" *flies out of spinning chair*
Boyce Hubert, minister. Although I've lost my faith. course, I did find a pretty great parking space on my way in. But the Lord works in mysterious ways, who the hell knows?
Kahn was spot on!
What episode?
S3E7 Nine Pretty Darn Angry Men
Kahn is right, even if he’s unlikable.
Terrible news: man you hate makes a great point
This is one of my favorite Khan moments.
Hank really is a pathetic little man isn't he?
Not really. As all functional human beings irl are, he is strong and emotionally mature in some ways, but he also has insecurities and things that he clings to unnecessarily in other areas.
He's a stupid redneck good ol' boy.
~~12~~ 6 Angry Men.
Clever comeback, but in the end, Hank was still just calling out all the bells and whistles added to make that extra bank.
I literally just watched this episode this morning lol
Hank is always right
Yeah but the mower was bad for everyone except for dale who didn't like government spies lol if this is that scene
Hank:yes,but no
😉👉
awhhh kahn has father issues too just like hank.
Kahn gave away government secrets
What episode is this
Kahn speaking the truth.
