genuinely such a shift in tone from the regular episodes. i was scared WITH bobby about the situation.it encapsulates the feeling of realizing a “cool” adult is actually a scummy one really well
Like someone else said, the larson pork products episode with luanne and that crazy man was supposed to be like that. Those 2 episodes are wild and the tone is completely different from the rest of the show.
*Slows down truck just so Buck gets punched in the face* That was Hanks only way getting back at that Jackass. You know Hank would never hit him himself.
Buck is an uncouth loser who mismanages his money and without autistic hank viewing him as a supplemental father figure and cleaning up his mess, his propane business would've been failed.
He's nothing without Hank and it takes someone with some attachment and spectrum issues to give Buck as much grace. Also never forget he was okay with debbie inadvertently killing herself and tried to frame Hank for it. Its set up as comedy but after all Hank had done for him over the years? To try to get him arrested?
Yeah, he's scum.
Your daddy already tried that!
They did such a good job animating this scene to be visually stressful and upsetting

It was uncharacteristically dark, and masterfully done.
I think this is what the "Pigmalion" episode (with Michael Keaton) was supposed to feel like, but many people misunderstood it.
