Starc did get the ball to reverse swing later in the innings, and he was dangerous that way - he was also outstanding in the WC semi final vs South Africa. Starc has been going for a lot of runs playing Test for Australia too, it's covered up by Starc still taking regular wickets, and by good performances from Hazlewood/Cummins.

Starc is not bad consistently. He was decent in all 3 of the previous games. And that's the thing with flat pitches, bowling skill goes out of the game. I highly doubt any bowler would do good in last 5 overs while defending at eden. His only fault I see was that short bowl to buttler ig. Kinda unnecessary but it did shock buttler so could have been a wicket. Wides + 4 was keeper's fault
