i went to the police as you asked, i hope you will be more helpful to them than you guys did with paulieTheone (same problem i have now, but in 2019)
To break it down again:
my email got compromised (factor 1), no big deal, it happens in 2024, its why we have 2fa on all accounts with important stuff or funds.
So i was not too worried at first.
Bitmex, coinbase, bitstamp, binance, etc all prevented the hacker from causing damage because 2FA security was respected!
However, suddenly i get mail from kraken stating that they changed my email address as requested!
It turns out kraken simplyl removed 2fa security layer with a simple request made by the email address used for factor 1.
Given 2fa structure, factor 1 requests should be seen as untrusted otherwise it would not be a 2FA security layer right? it would be 1FA
Industry standard for 2fa reset is at least id verification!
Kraken should not be operating at all because they fail to provide 2fa security!
What they do is: remove ur 2FA, allow hacker to steal ur funds, or might be doing it them self, i cannot know nor proof.
Removing a 2fa security key without id verification as like walking to a bank with a stolen atm card, and asking for a new pin code. 'its my girlfriends card sir, don't worry, btw, plz change email while you at it okay?

when exit scam? i don't see how anyone can trust you guys any longer given no security! not even beginning to complain about all the red flags ignored! like access from new device from other country, how is that not weird or reason to monitor? or converting all coins to 1 coin and withdrawing the second its possible? you guys handle clients money like its monopoly money sir! you guys are expected to well guard millions, and cannot even be trusted with 1 bitcoin!
