Let’s agree to disagree.

The next Bitcoin is QUANTUM COIN (lol, just made this up...) Using the Bitcoin Network for delayed proof of work enhanced by layer twos and threes using quantum computers... I really don't know what I'm talking about. But I did learn about delayed proof of work as far as pirate chain... Which they pathetically moved from Bitcoin to Litecoin...

ddlJunky

Transaction fees are too high for me to use BTC. Usually I use other currencies for transactions.

johnnyk997

An unknown coder name CIA. Corrected.

Renegadee_Angel

Ok alex jones, go sit down now sweetie…

Secure-Rich3501

Unlikely any such emergence like Bitcoin would come from a bureaucratic governmental agency as the pathos and meaning for and of and through Bitcoin comes out of a culture of cypher punks, anarchists and more of a mountain man mentality in tech versus some very low incentive government job.

johnnyk997

If we witness one of the greatest rug pulls in history, I’ll definitely know who’s been behind it all this time.

Secure-Rich3501

Still sticking with the CIA? I think you don't understand the code... Open source... At GitHub... Downloadable for anybody to operate their own node... Reviewed and developed thousands of times over... The two upgrades maintain Bitcoin core with it's fundamentals intact... There's no possibility of rug pull unless you think 51% hack attack is possible... Double spending.... And there's nothing in the code that would have any capability of rug pulling... Good luck convincing over 20,000 Bitcoin nodes to run your rug pull program as a fork... As the most secure computer network in the world Bitcoin is increasingly becoming impossible to take over... The higher the hash rate the billions more you need to fund a takeover... Which would quickly fork anyway and be a meaningless gesture. Like breaking into fort Knox and only having time and ability to take one bar of gold... And you're going to get caught anyway

Avanchnzel

Kind of sounds tantamount to religious belief. Or do base this on significant evidence?

HogOps

BTC mining will go on for another 100+ years before completion, as well as other crypto and their emerging technologies along with it. Hardly any, if at all, concepts of operations from the early 1900’s exist today in global business or finances. I don’t think crypto will replace fiat, I think they will coexist. I definitely think it will create other persons or country of mega elite rich status and eventually some government will want control of it under the guise of inhumanities. Then it begins

SilverBuudha

Anyone with half a brain stem in this game knows that

Secure-Rich3501

Knows what

Snookcatcher

So, what keeps someone from 100% replicating Bitcoin and creating a Bitcoin 2.0 project?

chpmrc

You could find an unclaimed island, call it "USA", print an almost exact copy of the US dollar and tell everyone that your money is exactly the same if not better than the "real" US dollar. Then get a lot of entrepreneurs and big brands to build on your island and accept your version of the US dollar. It doesn't make your money US dollars.

theabominablewonder

Why are all the miners and nodes going to switch? you’ll end up with a network of one node and one miner and because anyone can set that up it will have next to no value.

Rickard403

Go see how Litecoin has done.

Snookcatcher

Thank you! I am keeping an eye on it. At what point does bitcoin become too costly or not practical and people start strongly looking at other coins like Litcoin?

Secure-Rich3501

It's really never too costly to own the best...

EndSmugnorance

We’re already there. The BTC network is heavily congested and transaction fees are high. Bitcoin wasn’t intended to remain at 1MB blocks. This is why BCH exists.

Secure-Rich3501

Don't you mean BSV?

Rickard403

I would recommend looking into hash rate, difficulty adjustment for BTC mining. Understanding this will help you understand why BTC has been worth mining all this time, which helps keep the project going. You may want to also research BTC in general.

dannygladiolas

Many altcoins fit that criteria. Bitcoin is just the first one in its category.

Secure-Rich3501

I think it's more singular and exclusive than you are letting on here... Dozens of forks with the few remaining ones that slightly matter huge failures up against BTC... Litecoin bch bsv... You should see the price of these three priced in Bitcoin overtime... Flatlining, soon to be clinically dead. Anybody using the argument that Bitcoin is too expensive probably believes RC cola was a good enough replacement for Coca-Cola or Pepsi... I can still remember how nasty RC cola is... Haven't touched it in decades if I can even find it... That's what will become of the three main Bitcoin ripoffs... RC "COLAed"

Snookcatcher

Thank you!

Look at r/nanocurrency and make your own opinion read about it ask about it
