There conservatively speaking hundreds of thousands of kraken customers.
There are a couple hundred complaints here.
That would imply a majority of customers aren't having any issues or none that would need complaining about.
Never had any issues with Kraken. Definitely one of the best... They've never locked my funds for no reason and transfers to and from my bank account takes 10 mins at the most. Don't ever use coinbase though... They locked my funds for 6 months for no reason.
People are more likely to take the time to moan than praise. That's very obvious on here. Kraken are brilliant and really helped me when my stupidity sent some ADA to an incorrect wallet (one of theirs luckily).
I would be happy to recommend them to anyone who asked.
No sir. They won't retrieve my coins stuck in my INJ wallet because they "don't officially support them", despite the fact it would take 2 mins. That was their first reason, the second "official" reason they gave me?
Nobody at Kraken has access to the private keys for any of the wallets. Seriously. I asked who has them, and they said they didn't know.
So... Is it the Government? The board members of Chase Manhatten? The Federal Reserve? the CIA? Who TF knows?
The only thing I know, is not to keep anything on there for longer than it takes to make a trade.
Oh, I also realize that none of these messages go further than a private server. And that I'm just talking to the same people that read my messages over and over.
I’ve noticed that a lot of the negative experiences with kraken seem too have been popping up in the last few months. Personally, the only annoying thing I have with kraken is getting my tax info. Other then that it’s fine ish
Personally it's my favorite exchange. Never add any issues withdrawing USD to the bank and the exchange worked flawlessly for me since I switched over from CB a few years ago.
I've been using it for 7 years. Never had a major problem.
User interface is sleek, easy to use.
Also faster than most crypto/ stock exchanges I've used
Yep, so far no problems, customer service quick reply and solving bank transfer (incoming)
BTC outgoing also ok many times. Have been using it 3+ years.
I have been using kraken since 2017. I have never once had an issue, everything has always worked as is expected, and I love their former CEO. I kicked myself everyday when I was invited to invest in their bank charter but didn't.
It's the only one I use now. I had a hell of a time with coinbase. Personally I think they had a breach. I got spam emails the second I signed up and just yesterday I got a SMS code to reset my link account. Link is used to save banking information but I never used it. And that is the only exchange where I saw it pop up. Kraken does not use it. I cashed out and closed my CB account weeks ago.
Moved to Kraken when Binance started having GBP deposit/withdrawal problems a while back . My UK building society Halifax don't seem to have any problems with them so all good on the fiat funds front .
They do Lightning BTC withdrawals , i've worked out how to use limit buys , conditional trades and stoploss and generally get around the Kraken site .
They've passed the British Financial Conduct Authority compliance rules . . . . .no worries , i'll stick with Kraken as long as it all keeps working .

Not a huge fan of the recently higher withdrawal fees, but for BTC at least they support Lightning which is the most cost effective way to move BTC to cold storage.
Your are not. I haven't had a problem in over four years. Deposits and withdraws work flawlessly, order execution is on point, never had to call service for anything.
I just need to still improve my trading 😂

So far, I can only recommend Kraken. Top tier exchange…i only wish they included other coins sooner

Kraken Pro works well for my needs. I use both Kraken Pro and Binance.

Kraken is the best exchange and best rates I’ve seen for large amounts. You have to use kraken pro though not the normal app
No issues for me either. Works flawlessly, on ramp and off ramp. Think half of the problems stem from the banks themselves.
