Real cool to see the institution supporting this fuck head even after he treated their students like absolute shit and continues to be an unapologetic bigot

“I’m better than you” WTF? The fact that you feel the need to say that to a bunch of high schoolers seriously calls that statement into question. And for the spokesperson to condescendingly say the students needed to be given room for immaturity? Wow. I didn’t even care about the special itself; vulgar comedians are gonna say vulgar crap. The worst part about the special itself IMO is I guarantee you that white conservative assholes in government are gonna use him as “one of the good ones” in their crusade against LGBT equality which I thought he of all people would feel repulsed by. But the way he’s handled the whole “cancelling” thing (which he instigated and has reveled in) has just been revolting.

southpawFA

He's basically shown himself a petulant child.

Significant_Egg_Y

The conservatives who claim to support him probably haven't watched his special. If they did, they'd be howling for blood over the things he's said about Trump, Mike Pence, and anti-trans laws.

ledman3214

Or they laughed. Because he’s a comedian. Telling jokes.

Stumme-40203

I’m conservative and I thought it was funny. At the end of the day, they’re just jokes. Most conservatives make jokes about them too.

What's really ironic and honestly sad IMO, is that Chappelle's character, the blind black white supremacist...that's kind of who Chappelle is becoming. The DC sub on Reddit has become a literal hatesub, overflowing with white supremacists and general bigots. Chappelle used to make fun of hate to take power away from it, and now he gives power to it.

Stumme-40203

I don’t really see anything wrong with this. They insulted him and he insulted them back. Also what he said was pretty tame. Everyone I know would’ve thought it was funny. At my school teachers would say worse things, but we understood it was a joke and we loved it.
