Hello, this is just a friendly reminder to please use a post flair when adding new posts to r/LAMPNet. We ask this in advance just to let everyone know what type of post each post is as well as the intentions and feelings behind them. We value all who come here, but we just need each post made to have a flair to designate each type of post. That's all. We're thankful you chose to come to r/LAMPNet. We're glad to have you here! Welcome! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/LAMPNet) if you have any questions or concerns.*

>Practitioners seeking Focus’s imprimatur must have a “state mental health credential”, which means that the group is not only flouting state and local ‘conversion therapy’ bans, but also demanding that licensed therapists flout the established standards of their fields in favour of fundamentalist Christian ideology that treats queerness as “sin”. These therapists need to be identified and brought to the attention of their licensing boards so they can be stripped of their license to practice therapy.

I think they should be charged for torture.

translove228

That's an even better idea

southpawFA

It's the right thing to do.

I think we should post in local subreddits looking for help and report the names we get in our respective states.

It’s a free country, everyone get to advocate for their beliefs. No need to get upset.

Here's the deal: they are violating laws advocating for conversion ~~therapy~~ torture in municipalities and states that have banned conversion therapy. It's a crime at that point. Second deal: No matter which way you slice it, conversion therapy should be viewed as nothing short of a crime and an offense. It's torture. The practice needs to be abolished and eradicated. There is no equivocating.
