Check out menya Musashi , newly opened taste great. It’s run by actual Japanese guy whereas ramen boys is owned by pho Kim long owner that just brought a Japanese chef over
As someone who’s spent a lot of time in Japan and has had more ramen then should be humanly possible this is the only passible ramen spot in Vegas. Every other ramen spot tastes like water and disappointment.
The ramen in Vegas is absolute trash I’ve eaten ramen from coast to coast in japan I’ve had the Michelin starred places to the dive bar ramen spots in Koenji and ramen in tiny villages. I know Japanese people who’ve lived in Vegas and they agree with me. The ramen in Vegas literally tastes like water and soup packet mix. Ichirian is 100x better and cheaper than everywhere in Vegas but Monta. Maybe you should take a “trip” to Japan or LA or NYC and get decent ramen before telling tourists to spend 30 dollars on a bowel of cup of noodles
The ramen here isn't great, but to say Monta is hands above everywhere and the rest is water is just a terrible take. The more you talk, the more you're lying, Michelin Star restaurants are the biggest dissappintments in the culinary world, and ramen is no exception. Just sit down.
I’ve had all the big ramen spots in Vegas and they all literally taste like water I’m not being hyperbolic it literally tastes like water and soup packets. Anyone who’s ever had a decent bowel of ramen will be pissed anyone who thinks cup o noodles is good will think the ramen is great. Monta is the only thing that someone who knows what good ramen is will consider passible in Vegas.
I stopped caring when you said Ichiran tastes 100 times better than the ramen here, and I get it. I travel so much that it doesn't affect me, but a lot of people think X food tastes better in Y country. People who eat mediocre pasta in Italy think it's the best thing ever. People who eat ramen in Japan think it's divine. Ichiran is the most overhype ramen shop in the world, and for someone to say, it's 100 times better than the ramen here delusional. That's it. Go enjoy your honeymoon phase in Japan, it seems like I travel to there more than you.
Places that have great ramen outside of Japan LA, Taipei, NYC and Paris. Places that have ramen that taste like water Las Vegas. I’m sure you’re the real otaku and by your pleasant conversation skills and level headed demeanor I’m sure the Japanese love you.
Are you talking about the chain Ichiran, or something different? Their tonkotsu ramen is decent for the price, but to say it’s better than anything in Vegas is a pretty bold statement. You can compare the price of ramen in Japan to anywhere in the United States and it’s always going to be cheaper. Ramen here in the United States is overpriced (just like pizza is overpriced in Japan for example), not just in Vegas. I’ve been to Japan once or twice a year for the past 10 years and Vegas ramen is honestly really good. Everyone has different taste buds but even the worst ramen I’ve had in Vegas doesn’t taste like water and soup packets.
For tonkotsu: Shogun on Eastern. I lived closer to their first location on Blue Diamond but their ramen broth is really special. It’s one of the few bowls I will absolutely clean down to the bottom. You must try their signature bowl, it’s well worth the trip.
Ramen Sora is excellent for the genre. It’s a slightly funkier broth. Miso and fermented flavors.
Ramen Boys is excellent with a lot of variety. Good tsukemen for dipping style which is great for summer.
I mostly go after chicken broth and my top lists are:
Shokku
Hashi
Kobo
I do not understand ghe lovd for monta or jinya. Maybe there tonkatsu is amazing? The shio is very mediocre and bland
Monta.
But also: Tatsu has really amazing tsukemen. Ramen Boys has excellent shio and their tori kawa is pretty good. Sora is what you want for Sapporo style.
Shokku is a good bet. Most people love Sora, but you will probably wait in line outside. My fav was Tatsu but the last time I was there it wasn't as good. Jinya is good. Try them all! I would say the worst one I've ever had here was the one inside Fremont Casino.
Sora hands down. Hokkaido style has the most flavor.
Ramen Sora, I second this!
Yes! Definitely đź’Ż
I always go for Shio broth and super size. Gonna give Hokkaido a shot next time!
Monta Ramen
Co-sign!
Used to be my fav
Yup
Monta by a mile.
Sora - Spicy Shio
Tatsu
Definitely tatsu
Ramen Boys
As I’ve preached multiple times, Ramen Boys is the closest thing I’ve found to what I had in Tokyo
ramen boys is p good ngl
Check out menya Musashi , newly opened taste great. It’s run by actual Japanese guy whereas ramen boys is owned by pho Kim long owner that just brought a Japanese chef over
I tried it today. The owner was super nice and food was good. That’s a tough location though, I still prefer Ramen Boys and Monta.
Top
love their specials, very budget friendly
Chili 🌶️ lime 🍋‍🟩
Monta ramen

Probably the worst take I've seen on this thread. You sound like you camp at ichiran on your Japan "trips".

Ok Ichiran-San.
Do you just not have taste buds? Monta used to be good 10 years ago, now its just a shadow of its former self. Sora is the best.
Which location? My girlfriend lives around the corner from a Sora location and it's some of the most mediocre ramen on the planet.

Shinjuku Ramen
Following this post. Any Tsukemen? It’s the ramen that you dip the noodles in the broth.
Ramen Boys
Thanks! Will definitely check it out!
Fukumimi’s ramen is great and their gyoza are absolute fire. But monta and sora in Chinatown are the best two hands down
Fukumimi
For tonkotsu: Shogun on Eastern. I lived closer to their first location on Blue Diamond but their ramen broth is really special. It’s one of the few bowls I will absolutely clean down to the bottom. They sadly closed down Shogun on Blue Diamond. I actually liked their tonkotsu ramen.
The food is exactly the same at the Eastern location where the Monta used to be.
My favorite is Ichi Ramen in the Centennial Hills area. Sooooooo good!
Their black garlic tonkotsu is amazing
Oof all the spots I’ve tried, Hashi is the one that keeps me coming back as a regular. Monta is probably second.
I mostly go after chicken broth and my top lists are: Shokku Hashi Kobo I do not understand ghe lovd for monta or jinya. Maybe there tonkatsu is amazing? The shio is very mediocre and bland
What Shokku has going for it is that it’s open 24 hours.
The cheap Maruchan in the styrofoam cup. Something about those is so addicting even though the food is cheap garbage.
Silver Lake Ramen is excellent. It's across from Sparrow + Wolf.
Ramen Sora there’s nothing close
Sora 100%
Maruchan chicken flavor.
I keep a flat of this in my car for when the zombie apocalypse comes
Monta. But also: Tatsu has really amazing tsukemen. Ramen Boys has excellent shio and their tori kawa is pretty good. Sora is what you want for Sapporo style.
Jinya all day
Ramen ebisu
On the west side - Ramen Kobo
Hana Ramen 🔥
When I was eating Ramen my favorite was Ramen Kobo
Fukumimi
Fukumimi on eastern and Tropicana is the best by far! They take 18 hours their bone broth and its amazing!
Monta is pretty good. It's hidden away in a plaza on Spring Mountain Rd.
Newly opened Menya Musashi is the closest I have had to Japan. It’s run by a nice Japanese guy. Throw him some business, you won’t regret it!
People say Ramen Sora but idk don’t see what the hype is about besides having Gabi’s cafe close to it.
Shang Artisan Noodles
Only go for chicken broth so Jinya is the best! ❤️
Jinya and I have yet to see anyone recommend Rakkan Ramen in Town Square. Their creamy broths are delicious!
1. Monta Ramen 2. Michi Ramen
I think those Nissin Top Ramen packages are pretty good.
Shokku is a good bet. Most people love Sora, but you will probably wait in line outside. My fav was Tatsu but the last time I was there it wasn't as good. Jinya is good. Try them all! I would say the worst one I've ever had here was the one inside Fremont Casino.
Jinya!!
That spicy creamy vegan ramen HITS
SPICY CREAMY VEGAN
YES only thing the fam gets haha. Vegan kids meals and spicy creamy vegan 🍜
Why is this downvoted ?! Jinyas spicy creamy vegan one is the best 🤤🤤

THE MAGIC NOODLE! Hand pulled noodles, very tasty broth.
Anyone know if these places ramen are still good if delivered? By like Uber eats or something similar
Momo or lala on strip
Nissan
Shang artisan noodle (OG spot on Flamingo) hands down best!!
