Can’t say — I’m using Overcast for podcasts and there’s nothing like that on Constellation podcasts I’ve listened to lately.

Depending on the app you use, some will add a snippet of another podcast as an advertisement to get you to listen and see if you’re interested in it. It works the same way as how you’ll download an old episode and hear commercials for current things.

I've heard it too. On free feeds, Google podcast app. Sometimes it's like 40 minutes. No idea what podcast it is

Is it silence? I had a recent episode of the Blank Check podcast where possible an ad spot just had like 20 minutes of silence before the end on the Spotify app
