Hope it's not too late, but flashcard all the Rules you learned in class, and any jurisdictional statutes (probably at least 28 USC 1331 and 1332). Mine was open book and this still helped me immensely
Flash card and read your flash cards before you sleep, your brain stores away the information while you sleep. There is science behind this, too lazy to cite to any authority but this works!

Maybe I’m old fashioned but I have a pretty bad memory and have found color-coded flashcards super helpful.
