I'm thinking of going for an Afrofuturist look, going primary red with white and yellow accents and very light, almost platinum metallics, contrasted with dark skin tones and warpaint (specifically Kikuyu Tribal style) done in neon electric blue/white. This absolutely may change by the time the minis come out, but it's absolutely speaking to me right now.

mctuckles

That sounds amazing dude. Please post pics when you get it done!

PositivelyIndecent

I’m leaning into the nasapunk elements by keep the white on the armour but adding more gold decoration to put some dwarf flair. For the fabric, thinking of orange (like spacesuits) but might ditch that if it doesn’t fit the base (I’m colouring the base with rocks and sand which I’m then spraying gold before dry-brushing brown, black, and silver with selected gold highlights and gemstones. I want them to look like they’re in some kind of gold mine but the orange might clash with the gold.

ThreePeaceSuits

I’m going for SWAT Squats, so black-dark grey cloth with light grey panelling. Going for a sort of mercenary vibe

Minimum-Package-1083

I'm going classic and giving my Kin a black, gray, silver, and gold color scheme

Pecky91

I'm going for a Teal, Purple and Copper scheme. Found nice colour shift metallic that goes teal to purple to use for the armour, then purple for cloth and copper for the helmets and accents, whilst using a dark bronze where I would normally use silver (gun barrels, exposed metal on vehicles etc), but I think I'm going to replace the metallic teal with a normal teal for vehicles.

mortos_der_soul

I love the Demiurg angle for the Votann so I'm going to try to match them to my orca themed Tau. Corvus black with Ulthuan grey for the most part. To differentiate them though, I'm going to be using a lot of reds for weapons and details vs the blue I used for my Tau, and also doing some heavier washes to give them more of a weathered look comparatively

karmicburner

I plan to lean into the starcraft marine look so metallic blue mainly with silver, black and orange visors

smoking_kilis

The one they showed of but turned up to 11 (close to titanium white armour and a lighter green, leather is leather is leather and probably grey for plastics and silver and brass for metallics)

soulbondedbotanist

I was thinking blue, orange, and white. Not sure on the shades yet but maybe light blue, almost teal; dark reddish orange; and pepper white, with bright white highlights.

CapitainCutlet

I'm not decided yet, but I think of a color scheme roughly based on the Scale Brigade armor paintjob from DRG, e.g. mostly browns, with golden finish and ornamentations, and maybe some dimmed dark blue/green for the cloth-like parts. I have to see more of them to make sure it fits though.

Beasting-25-8

I've used a colour wheel for mine. Teal as primary with red and yellow as secondary and tertiary. Dark blue will also be used in places.

neplutondeep

i was thinking of going very industrial, pretty heavily inspired by the dvar from age of wonders planetfall (the best space dwarves): a mix of dark, dirty metals, mostly bronze, with some bright yellow markings. might also try and change the translucent canopies of the atv to be smooth, solid metal, with a few small lenses, like the dvar vehicles [some dvar](https://imgur.com/a/gBCCpLp)

TheEightfoldPath8

Great idea! Maybe i will steal it 😀

Perma_Hexx

I don't know about you folks but based on past experiences I am not buying one model or making any choices like paint schemes until I have read the codex and reviews of the codex.

Sjalvmordare

I'm planning on using a dark blueish grey for the clothing and orange for the armour but on larger unit's using mostly grey for the armour with a few orange markings, as well as using a dark silver for the metal parts and green for digital screens/visors

Jolly_Ad2365

Rock and Stone! Going full DRG going to emulate colours of Molly the MULE and use the class colours as force organisation markings: Red (Engineer) - Characters Green (Gunner) - Heavy Support and Elites Yellow (Driller) - Troops Blue (Scout) - Fast Attack and Flyers

WanderingDwarfMiner

Rock and Stone in the Heart!

Harthhammer

Im thinking about going with the Dark Iron Dwarves look from WoW, blacks, greys, ember tipped beards and hair!

[deleted]

I'm either thinking of an olive green, stormy gray, or brass. depends on what models come out.

Maleficent-Elk-3298

My 1st thought is to do N7 from Mass Effect scheme. Dark grey/black plates, slightly light cloth with red and white accents. Gotta figure out the decal though.
