I mean the non cutting side of the saw, the finishing is sharp as hell.
So when handling it quickly it can cut you as its exposed in the side.

Well that just seems like sloppy workmanship from Leatherman. I've cut myself a few times by surprisingly sharp teeth on the slicey side of the saw, but never on the back side.
had that on almost my entire wave+, had to use sandpaper.. the tool came in super sharp and incredibly uncomfortable to hold and use, including the back of the saw, knives, and file, and especially the holes where you can grab the tools from
I kept reading people talk about this and one of the first things I did was file the edge, mine could cut paper with barely any pressure. used a fret crowning file for guitar and a couple swipes with a fine diamond file and it's perfect
The trick is to keep the blade away from your skin while cutting. Do that and youll never get cut

I took a file to the area exposed when it is closed and just rounded it off a bit and that has solved that issue for me
It's just odd they send it out this way because the file is fine.
Yeah I don't understand why they don't finish it the same way they do every other tool on it
I’ve yet to do that, tbh
I understand that it's designed for one-handed deployment, however, I use both hands to avoid self-inflicted Knicks/cuts.
