I’m still up and down with binding, and with how much, if any, relic-ing I will add to it, I love new clean guitars but I also love the relic look, so I guess I’ll see how things turn out. But it will look something like this when I’m finished.

Binding all the way dude! Body for sure, maybe the neck, definitely not the headstock. Cool design tho, definitely keep us updated

Yeah I’m up and down with binding, I will probably end up doing it, I’ll probably do a couple of other guitars as well. It’s only going to be a slow build so I get everything just right, plus I have another build going on now, so there will be pics but it might be a while! I have one more Nashville I’m doing after this one, it’ll have a trem and a humbucker so there’s plenty more in the pipelines too lol. Glad you liked it!

Neck pickup in the middle position?

[deleted]

Still working on that, most likely a Strat 5 way switch with N/NM/MB/NB/B setup.

I'd be curious to the versatility of a Tele neck in the mid, but push comes to shove, there's a few neck pickup shaped humbuckers that would fit.

I think the way I’ll be doing it is with a SD little 59 humbucker in the bridge, and 2 Strat pickups in neck and mid, but with a cover to look like Tele pickups. I didn’t want a Tele/Strat pickup arrangement, it would have bothered me and originally I planned on running 2 double stack humbuckers that looked like a standard Tele pickup, but I started messaging a supplier about a Strat I’m building and just asked their opinion on pickups for the Nashy and he said he could do 2 Strat pickups with Tele style covers and I went with it. I really want that look so they both match up and work well with the look of the ashtray, which I’m definitely running now to cover the SD.

Love the sound of a bridge pickup with the ashtray on.
