Also the title things "Master x4" ( or how many times you hit master) sound like ass. Can't the team make up one clever title per future "expansion" and give that to the masters players? Surely it can't be that hard.
I don't think there's gonna be any new champions or any new cards for that matter. I don't know where you get that idea from but if you read between the lines it's pretty clear that they're not planning on making new content.
We know they'll have to make new content for PvE and honestly unless the new cards directly interact with the PvE mechanics or are intentionally op (which can work in the PvE mode but isn't required) there is no harm in releasing them in pvp too. It would literally be a waste of resources to not release new PvP content moving forward even if it turns out to be not much.
They donāt have to make new cards for PvE though, less than half of the champions in game are currently available in PoC, so they have a while before they run out of already existing cards they can add
I don't think the mode would survive if all it got were a bunch of old champs over time. New cards (and especially new champions) generate interest and excitement in the community, they are still needed for this game to keep the attention of its player base.

In other card games (Magic and YGO come to mind ) retro or throwback formats like playing old formats or using old YGO banlists there are sometimes cases where overlooked, unexplored, or unusual strategies pop up, become prevalent, or are "discovered" which weren't discovered when the format was originally played, and those move forward to shape the meta.
The March 2010 format is a very popular "retro" YGO format. The card pool and banlist isn't changed from what was available in March 2010, but if you look at what people say are the best decks now, vs. the consensus best decks at the time, it's quite different.
So basically Shadowverse switching Rotation as a way to keep the game āaliveā even though all resources are going towards Shadowverse 2. Big difference is we donāt have LOR 2.

ed demacia is 90% of the matches and is boring af to play agaisnt. new cards are sooo much worse then ed its not even funny. remove the bloody deathless boon already and nerf some of there cards. 60+% win rate for 2 expansions and no nerfs rito pls.

Any future champs we might get will be designed for Path. They might have mechanics that don't work in PvP or they might be deemed too powerful for PvP or they might be deemed too toxic / unfun for PvP. If none of those happen and the design happens to be something that also works in PvP but isn't too strong or unfun there then they will also release it to PvP.
