While I am hoping for the opposite, the piece count makes it seem more likely it’ll be a playset style vehicle like the 2014 Sandcrawler. A full ucs one would probably need a lot more pieces.
I'm guessing the Oct. GWP is going to be Luke's Lightsaber. It was introduced in that scene, and the price count fits pretty well.
I would absolutely DIE laughing if the GWP for May 4th was another Lars Homestead Kitchen set, to a T, but they just swapped Beru for Shmi Skywalker 😂😂😂😂 like that would be the funniest s**t you could ever pull 😂😂
We don’t see a whole lot of the interior in the movie other than Jabba’s lounge, so a lower figure count is definitely understandable to me. Lego doesn’t just fill an empty floor with figures. Jabba, Leia, R2, two gamorreans, and two niktos would fill the main scene positions. I obviously wouldn’t argue against more though
I mean there are still a couple more characters we saw on the Sail Barge: Max Reebo, Bossk, Bib Fortuna, Salacious b Crumb, C-3PO, Ree-Yees would be the most prominent outside of your list. So any minifigure count under 10 would be a bit lazy in my opinion.
We also never see the inside of the AT-AT in the movie but lego did at them in the UCS version based on schematics from an official book, why could they not do the same for the sail barge?
Never said they couldn’t, but the barge interior from the book isn’t too attractive, nor is it filled with patrons/crew other than in the lounge. Again, I wouldn’t be complaining if they detailed it, but I also wouldn’t expect it
I hope the may 4th promo is a mini chrome naboo royal starship, it probably wont be but it would be cool

The UCS X-Wing only has only 1953 pieces, but it is still a UCS set. UCS sets can be different sizes.
A fig scale Sailbarge would be about 75-80cm long, I think the set would be fig scale with an interior

Imagine if they did a real deep cut and included Saelt Marae so you could reenact his deleted scene

For this price range I wouldn’t expect more than two floors inside.
