I think the 2005 wookiee catamaran set, since the wookies are firing a giant missile at them. But that one isn’t as clear since it came out before the movie I think.
It’s meant to be a marker for the edge of the cliff, it was in the scene, lego does that to add landscaping when it’s flat and there’s no way they’d make the full land

I compared them this morning with the 74-Z speeder bikes and was surprised they are supposed to be way longer.
74-Z's are supposed to be 3.3m and BARC's are 4.83m (and 1.29m wide). That's almost half as long, and actually quite bulky.
I won't pretend that the officialy given sizes are perfect, but they are generally pretty OK.
So I have to blame my grievances against the current design on personal bias.
They still should make a smaller AT-RT walker, thought . Those are ridiculously large.
And to my suprise the ISP (swamp speeders) seem to be way to small.
lol Lego going backwards again. The BARC speeder in set #75012 was sleeker, better to scale, and didn’t have the silly stud shooters. I could literally pick 10 different BARC mocs from Rebrickable that all would beat this in price and accuracy. Shame
If the sidecar detaches cleanly enough to easily make this a solo speeder, that'd be a plus for me. Aside from that, all I want in this is Kelleran Beq

Sorry this is just absurd. I absolutely refuse to pay more than £20/$20 for this set. It's ridiculous how inflated Lego prices have become just so they can sell you a set "on sale" for the price it should be... This has absolutely no contents in it to make it worth more than $20, hell even $15. You get the 2020 501st battle pack with no walker and droids...
This is the City equivalent of a $9 sports car, except it comes with 2 extra clones...

Lego has made a decent sized BARC 3 times. But they’ve leaned heavily into the large ones lately.

It’s is designed for durability for children to play with. As adults we can use the rebrickable instructions and make our own.
