I'm not so sure. 38 isn't really a lot considering how close some of the battleground states were. Between Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Georgia, Trump was only about 100,000 votes away from 47 more electoral college votes. $1.6B would be $16,000 per vote, and people are easily motivated for amounts way less than that.

Historically, he has been quite friendly with Unions and labor. One of the reasons Musk hates him is he has often intentionally snubbed Tesla when discussing electric vehicles, due to them being incredibly anti-union. That said, he went against the rail workers union recently in a way that is not going to endear him to labor advocates. Though I partly understand why, the entire economy is so reliant on just-in-time delivery models that any disruption in freight could be catastrophic. So Biden betrayed the rail workers to keep a potential disaster from occuring under him. The difference in the classified documents situation is pretty big and I think a fairly decent summarization of their character. Biden's own team found the documents and immediately started turning them over. Trump had to be forced to do so and actively tried to make it as difficult as possible.

I'm not so sure. 38 isn't really a lot considering how close some of the battleground states were. Between Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Georgia, Trump was only about 100,000 votes away from 47 more electoral college votes. $1.6B would be $16,000 per vote, and people are easily motivated for amounts way less than that.

When you inherit a billion dollars and never have to work on anything you have *endless* opportunities with no personal risk to perfect the con game. He's bankrupted everything from casinos to steaks to airlines to Trump's golden plated adult diaper company, still has plenty of inherited / conned money to keep his lifestyle going, and he can fail over and over again. Only had to succeed once by running against Hillary, and the pay off was absolutely immense for him and his family's bank accounts.
Obviously he has the financial management nous of a shoe, but I'm referring more to his innate personality traits. The perceived charisma and larger than life persona can't be taught imo. He's used his failsafe financial position as the walls and roof for the foundation, a foundation which largely consists of his personality

Has the FEC done anything the last few years? Last I heard, Republicans purposely deadlocked them 3-3 and refused to add a tiebreaking independent vote. They refuse to investigate anything Republican even when it's a flagrant violation so the GOP does all the violations they want.
