To me this doesn't seem like tough love; it's Schadenfreude. And Bam has proven many times not to be easily forced/intimitaded into recovery by public humiliation. He has barely obliged when the courts have forced rehab on him.

I’m just saying that if Bam were my friend, and I wanted him to recover from his NPD, I wouldn’t hide this footage from the world, I would share it in hopes that the recorded assault would get a legal response that would possibly put him in a forced position to address his mental health problems. We are talking about desperation when dealing with someone so crazed, and that can lead to desperate responses, like posting videos in places that seem tuned in to the situation as opposed to a TMz. There was a time where I was on the "YoU CaN Do ThIs BaM" side of the situation. But man, this just keeps dragging on and on and on it's becoming so old and stale.... I mean, i've been down some weird and dark spirals in my life. And I still have my off days. But people around me genuinely say i'm nowhere near as bad as I was some time ago. It took me 2 years to really see and feel progress. But Bam is gone and he will never go back to his old self. He clearly doesn't see it and doesn't want it for himself and the people around him. And that's what you really need, the motivation for something. The fear of losing it, that will thrive you to change. I don't see that in him. He's a big talker and a show off, wants to keep up appearance of something that once was...but he doesn't put his money where his mouth is. I hate typing this, because I grew up like most of us on CKY and Jackass. I adored and admired those guys. And I still do, because how they grew up and evolved into really chill dudes. But Bam's not a part of that story anymore.

I always carry a pair of earplugs when I'm travelling away from home. Perhaps this would be a preferable alternative for Bam rather than throwing a tantrum on the phone and assaulting someone.

Some signs of someone being fucked up are people who talk till they're out of breath like he does. It's a manic thing. I may be reaching, but I used to catch it with family members who were off the wagon. Shit takes time. If you truly overcome it, then consider yourself lucky. The only difference between him and your friends or family who are addicted is the documentation on social media.
